What's up nerds, I flipped heads today, so it was a story continuation. Since I have more than one story now too, I got to use a number generator and got 1. Welcome back to Arribana.
What the hell are you doing here Alana?"
"Now Franesca, is that any way to speak to a royal court member?"
"You bitch, you sent me here, why should I show you any ounce of respect?""Calm down," Alana said, malice glazing her eyes. She slowly returned back to her condescending state with a relaxed smile. It was still satisfying to Franesca she could get under that slimy creature's skin. "I could have put you somewhere much worse."
"Oh I'm sure. Worse than limbo. Either you're getting worse at lying, or I'm just getting better at seeing them."
A snarl. Franesca smiled at the reaction. "Calm down," Franesca teased, "I could be saying so much worse."
Alana reached her arm out in a split second and Franesca felt her throat seize. She was being raised from the ground, staring down at Alana who was attempting to squeeze the life out of Franesca's body by simply squeezing it all from throat.
"Do it," Franesca choked. "I fucking dare you. Do it." She smiled, feeling the metal feeling of blood running down her chin. She was truly crushing her windpipe, but pain wasn't something that really bothered Franesca anymore.
Alana must have been able to see this. She let out a small sound of fury and put her arm down. Franesca fell from the sky, letting out a cry of real pain when she landed and felt her knee give out on her. Clutching onto it tightly, gritting her teeth, and ignoring the splinters that were sinking into her skin, she listened to Alana giggle. "You're truly nothing without that skeleton are you?"
"Burn in the fiery hells from which you were born from," Franesca gritted. She felt nails digging into her scalp. There wasn't much hair to grab on to, but Alana found enough to yank and bring up to her face. "Watch your mouth," She hissed. "I have no problems telling the court to leave you here instead of granting your pardon. I doubt you wanna spend another day here."This time, Franesca truly felt the air leave her lungs. Pardon? This soon? She was sure she remembered the courts banishing her for years to come.
"I can go back to Arribana?"
"If you shut the fuck up, maybe I'll be nice enough to let that happen." Despite the fury burning her stomach alive, Franesca said nothing. "Perfect," Alana said, and let go of Franesca's hair. "Get up, we've gotta go."
"I'd totally do that, but you've inhibited my ability to move," Franesca said, making dramatics of showing off her leg. "Unbelievable," Alana huffed, and flicked her wrist. Franesca felt something in her knee move and pop painfully into place, and she let out a loud cry. "Happy now? Get up."
Franesca obeyed, despite herself, and made her way to Franesca on shaky legs.
"Hold onto me." Alana had her hand out. Franesca snarled at Alana's perfectly manicured nails. The idea of touching her hand made her feel like she would actually vomit. "Do you think I want to touch you either? If you don't hold onto me the entire transport process you could disintegrate into the void. Now that is much much worse than limbo. I don't assume you want to have your consciousness dispersed among a 2 dimensional plane now do you?" Alana batted her eyelashes, and it made Franesca want to slap them off her face. There was so much about Alana to despise. Her perfection. Her magic. Her lies. Nothing more than the betrayal she'd faced Franesca with before she was banished.
Holding her breath, Franesca gripped on to Alana's hand. A feeling that was so familiar, now so incredibly disgusting for her to feel. It felt like her soul was leaving her body when they took off. She could barely process where her body was. That it was still attached to itself. There was bright light everywhere and she had to close her eyes. Even then, she felt like she was going blind just as much with closed eyes. There was a fiery sensation beginning to form along her body, but just as soon as it came, it was gone.
She collapsed with a loud echo on stone floor, and looked around, gasping for breath. "You're so dramatic," Alana breathed, and strutted back to her throne. The castle. She was back in the castle. She was back in Arribana. "Franesca," came a smoother voice. Alana's voice may have brought a fury burning larger than a forest fire, but this voice was ice. Ice that froze Franesca's body with fear. "Deliana, Your Highness." She stayed on the floor, hoping it would do as a bow while she gained her composure.
