you soften me,gentle murmurs
rolling from rounded lips in the dark,smooth
uncalloused hands grazingover bones
too sharp through barely-there
flesh,words slipping from tamed
tongues polished by waves of emotion
that churn within the coastlines of my chest.
you tempered a tempest,you tamed a storm
and i becamea little less wild,a little less sharp,
screams sank slowly into silence,because for
you,i never needed more than a whisper-look
at me,look at me i'ma storm,i'm destructive,
and it's like pounding on the chest of someone
you know would never hit you back,love
is like lashing outand encountering only
serenity.
