Episode 1: The Adventure Begins(Part One)

Rosalina, Anita, and Chatter waited at the helicopter landing site attached to their boat house. Anita held a round plate of Banana Chip Cookies, while Rosalina stood beside her.

"How much longer do we have to wait, Ms. Anita?" Rosalina asked as she looked up at Anita. Anita looked back down at her and smiled.

"Anytime now, Rosa. We have to–"

She was interrupted by the sound of a chopper hovering over them. Rosalina squealed with excitement but remained still. It has been A LONG TIME since Lukas, Richard, and Dr. Remy were home. She couldn't go with them because she was still recovering in the hospital.

Months ago, Rosalina's family was involved in a terrible car crash while driving back home from Dr. Remy's house after dinner. Rosalina survived the crash, with a broken arm and cuts. But...her parents didn't make it through.

They died of blood loss and injury. Rosalina stayed in the hospital for 3 weeks and was "adopted" by The Remy Family(and Anita) when she was released from the hospital.

The funeral for Rosalina's parents happened 3 days later, lasting 48 hours. After 4 weeks of therapy, Rosalina was nearly back to her old self. She gets nightmares of the accidents and panic attacks here and there. But Rosalina still manages to stay positive. Now, Rosalina's arm was healed and the only cut that was visible was a big one on her left cheek.

"Speak of the devil, they're already here," Anita said with a smirk as she looked from Rosalina back up to the chopper. The chopper slowly landed, and a small set of stairs appeared from the chopper that led to the ground. An older man appeared, walking down the stairs. It was Dr. Remy. The Father of Richard Remy and Lukas Remy. Dr.Remy got off the stairs and walked toward the three. Rosalina ran forward a bit and hugged Dr. Remy tightly, smiling widely.

"Welcome Back, Dr. Remy!" Rosalina greeted the older man, obviously happy to see him. Dr. Remy looked down at Rosalina and smiled, bending down on his knee and hugging her back.

"Thank you, Rosalina. It's good to see that you are doing much better and healthier," Dr.Remy said to Rosalina as he rubbed her head. The girl nodded as she backed up, her sweet smile still plastered on her face.

"You are late, Dr. Remy," Anita said in a stern tone, a frown on her face. Rosalina looked behind her, confused. Anita's face softened as she held up the plate of cookies, "But I made your favorite cookies anyway."

"Bawk! Favorite cookies! Bawk!" Chatter squeaked as he took a cookie and landed on Anita's shoulder. Anita handed Rosalina a cookie, which she quickly devoured.

"Thank you, Anita–", Dr. Remy began, Richard getting off behind him. He seemed distracted and mad about something. Rosalina watched him before she just shrugged her shoulders.

Lukas then got off the chopper slowly, looking back. He then waved his arm forward when he was on the ground as if he was signaling something. Rosalina's face instantly changed when she saw Lukas. Of course, Lukas is her favorite out of everyone because of his heart and courage.

"Lukas!" she exclaimed as she ran rapidly to Lukas. Lucas looked up, and a grin grew on his face when he saw her coming toward him. He opened his arms to her, so she could easily hug him.

"Hey, Rosa–hufffmmph!" Lukas felt like the air was knocked out of him when Rosalina hugged him. The impact nearly caused him to fall backward. Lukas took a breath and hugged her back, wrapping his arms around her.

Out of all the members of the family, Rosalina and Lukas were the closest. You could say they were like PB&J or Two Peas in a Pod. Lukas was devastated when he heard that Rosalina was involved in the car crash, and he didn't like it when Rosalina was stuck on her parents' death.

Lukas disliked seeing her restless and never leaving her room. He would comfort her through panic attacks and would soothe her mind after nightmares.

Dr. Remy and Anita couldn't help but smile at them, happy to see the two back together. Richard stared at his brother in jealousy, crossing his arms and leaning against the chopper. Dr. Remy turned back to Anita and continued, "...but I must warn you and Rosa that...we have a little surprise."

Rosalina looked confused as she and Lucas stopped hugging each other. "Really? What kind of surprise?" she asked.

And as if it was a cue, a male baby gorilla walked to the entrance, chittering. Lukas turned around and waved at him, while Rosalina studied him. He had Dark Sapphire Blue fur, and his face, hands, and feet were Slate Blue. He looked right as if he could blend right into the night sky if he didn't have his wide, Amber Brown eyes. "Whoa," was all Rosalina said as she stared at him.

The baby gorilla spotted the Banana Chip Cookies and jumped high into the air. Anita started to exclaim in Spanish while Chatter quickly flew away in fear(really bro?). The baby gorilla then landed in front of Anita, causing her to fall backward and land on her bum. The plate that held the cookies flipped in the air, sending the cookies flying up.

"Let's get 'em, guys!" Lukas called to Kong and Rosalina before jumping up into the air. Rosalina laughed and jumped up along with Kong, catching any nearby cookies.

Dr. Remy walked over to Anita and helped her back onto her feet. "It's all right, Anita, it's not a monster," he reassured her.

"It's, uh, just a baby gorilla," Dr. Remy spoke in a soft tone as he gestured to Kong. Chatter flew back over to them and sat down on Dr. Remy's shoulder.

"Oh yeah, Anita's gonna quit for sure if the ape isn't history," Richard said in a cocky tone as he sat at the entrance of the chopper.

"Wow Anita," Lukas exclaimed as he sat on the ground with Kong and Rosalina. Both were munching on the cookies, crumbles around their mouths.

"Baby Kong really likes your cookies," Lukas said as he looked back at Kong. Kong finished one of the cookies and nodded at Anita, chittering happily. Dr.Remy and Anita look at each other before Anita laughs lightly.

"Well... at least el pequeno has good taste," Anita said as she walked over and put her hands on her hips. Rosalina finished the last one, wiping her mouth clean.

Baby Kong then got up and held his hand out as he chittered. In there was the last Banana Chip Cookie. He was offering the cookie to her. Anita could help but smile at this.

Oh, what a good nino! You can have the last cookie!" Anita said in a sweet tone as she slowly pushed Kong's hand towards him. Chatter was not happy about that.

"Bawk! No fair! Bawk No fair!" Chatter yelled as he landed on Anita's shoulder and turned around, clearly upset. Rosalina sighed and reached into her bag and pulled out a bunch of sunflower seeds and set them on the ground.

"Chatter, look!" Rosalina called out, gesturing to the pile of seeds. Chatter peeked over and became happy.

"Bawk! Thank you! Bawk! Thank you!" Chatter said as he flew over and started to eat the seeds, Rosalina petting his head.

"Aw, man, I can't believe this," Richard groaned in disappointment, not pleased that Kong got to stay. Rosalina glanced at him before looking back at Chatter.

"Well, I'm very happy to see Chatter's new bionic wing is working so well," Dr.Remy chuckled as he walked over to Chatter and examined his wing. Chatter looked up from the seeds and smiled.

"First bionic bird! Bawk! First bionic bird! Bawk!" Chatter said as he held out his wing and then flew over to sit down on Anita's shoulder. Anita said something in Spanish to Chatter, smirking(?) a bit.

"I am very glad you were able to save his life but did you have to save his voice as well, Dr. Remy? He's such an annoying chatterbox!" Anita stated. Chatter just squawked loudly, smiling.

"Two hurdles down. Kong seems to have won Anita and Rosalina over," Dr. Remy said as he walked over to Lukas, placing a hand on his back. Rosalina turned around, scratching Kong's head as Dr. Remy placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Now, let's see how the little fellow does in our houseboat," he finished. Lukas and Rosalina looked at each other, before looking back at Dr. Remy and nodding.
