A surge of adrenaline rushed through Chat Noir's veins, "Marinette... is that really you?".
Marinette opens her arms for a hug, "It's the real deal kitty".
Chat Noir had his hand over his mouth and took a step back in fear.
"Chat Noir?", Marinette raises an eyebrow, "Look... I know this must be weird"
"Weird?...", Chat Noir looks into her eyes, "Marinette your parents have been looking for you for months! Where have you been?".
Marinette walks by the slightly tinted window and looks back at Chat Noir, "I just been busy".
"Busy?", Chat Noir tilts his head, "Marinette I need to take you to your parents, you need to".
Marinette interrupts him, "Why the rush? I need to know. How's Paris without Ladybug?".
"Why do you want to know how Paris was without Ladybug?", Chat Noir steps closer to her, "Marinette I need to take you home. Your friends and family miss you".
Marinette walks by the bench and sits down cross-legged, "Oh please. They're fine. Besides Adrien... I have been looking forward to talking to you again".
Chat Noir's tail points up and stumbles backwards, "W-what d-did you say?"
"What? That my parents are fine?".
Chat Noir had his mouth wide open.
Marinette smiles, "Ohhh, you mean the Adrien part". She taps her foot and walks beside Adrien, "Yeah, I have known for a long time now... you see my eyes aren't like what they used to be, before the transformation".
"Transformation?", Chat Noir questioned. Marinette ignores him and continues, "my vision is so much better now. I can see colours humans can't, I can see people's energy levels, and I'm able to see 20 km more than the human eye. I am faster and stronger, and I have the ability to rip people's flesh limb from limb. Chat Noir... I want-".
Chat Noir was rooted in place, "Ripping people? Marinette what happened?".
Marinette grins, "Can't you see? I'm the better version of myself!". Marinette steps closer to Chat Noir, "Join me. I can turn you into the better version of you!".
Chat Noir pushes Marinette to the side, "Never!". He runs straight towards the door when a gust of wind comes over him. Marinette was standing there, at the door. "W-what? How did you-?".
Marinette giggles, "Told you I got better... I can turn you like this. You can have it all".
Chat Noir brings out his baton, "I don't care. Marinette if you're akumatized I will-"
"I'm not akumatized. No Akuma can do this", She sticks out her teeth, and her fangs grow in size.
Chat Noir steps a little back. Marinette looked into his green eyes, she could see the fear and disgust in him. She knew there was only one way to convince him, "Okay, if you can't listen to me...then you will listen to an old friend. Tikki come out".
"Old friend?Tikik?".
From behind, a small little creature comes out. She had spots all over, her little eyes looked like her life was sucked out of her.
"Where did you get her?", Chat Noir sticks his hands out, "CATACLYSM!". His hands begin to fire with black essences, and fury roared through his mind, ''What did you do to Ladybug!?".
Marinette sighs, "Kitty, please put two and two together". She brings both of her arms up, "TIKKI SPOTS ON". A red light flashes over her and a costume that was once black spots was now replaced with red. Blood smeared all over her.
"L-Ladybug?", Chat Noir's stomach twists, "You were her. This whole time?".
Marinette nods, "I have been this full time", she looks down to the floor, "Adrien... I have been in love with you for years now but I never had the confidence to tell you... If I had known you were Chat Noir'", she chuckles, "Funny isn't it?"
"Funny? How is this funny?", his veins flowed with rage.
"Chat Noir. Don't you understand? We can be together. Just you and me!".
Chat Noir shakes his head, his hand still pouring with the black essences, and his ring beeps. In just a few minutes he will transform back into his citizen form, "N-no! Something happened to you in those few months. What aren't you telling me!".
A green flashes over Chat Noir, and his suit disappears. Plagg lands on top of Adrien's shoulder, unable to move because of the lack of energy he had. Now sporting a white vest with a black striped shirt, Adrien stumbles back.
"You know...", Ladybug takes a step closer to him, "Your life essence is special".
"You're not making any sense", He replies back.
"We are creation and destruction, opposite poles, that attract each other", Ladybug sticks out her hand and squeezes his neck.
"One cannot exist without the other", she smiles.
Adrien drops down to the wooden floors as Ladybug's red eyes shine.
