Madame Loret prefers fresh food, but instead of getting them in Toulouse, she wants it from Montauban market. It has something to do with relatives of hers, selling fresh fruits on stands. It gets worse, knowing that I have to go for her. I was not only the cleaner anymore, but also her little use of service. Anything that means to move around for Loret was my job. Going to Montauban was one of the main jobs. Thankfully, she gives me money for the bus. I take it positive though, one chance to get out of the theater. Even better, I don't have to hear Loret's voice for a while. She might have a wonderful singing voice, but once she stops her sounds like an angry feline. No one likes to be around for too long. The previous singer, Madame Eleanor was a lot nicer. But one day, she was gone...without any reason. No one knows what happened to her; only that Madame Loret appeared out of the blue, taking her place. The entire staff of the theater is obeying her every wish. If they wouldn't, she would leave immediately and the theater would fall apart. So we have no choice but to keep her satisfied.

I sighted, as I looked for an important stand. What she loves the most, are some fresh bananas and a bouquet of flowers. Seriously, like Toulouse didn't have any flowers shops! I guess she does this to get them a lot cheaper. I don't understand this woman! However, this wasn't my problem now. I watched in horror, as the bus stopped. The cart with the bananas was ruined, all fruits were mashed up. Not one was eatable or even to be sold. He was the only one who sells them cheap. I went over to the owner, who was arguing with another man.

"Excuse me, Sir?"

"What do you want? Can't you see that I am talking?!" I wasn't surprised at his outburst; he is the cousin from Mamdame Loret.

"I was wondering if you have some bananas that you can sell."

His face was now before me, "Don't you see that they are ruined?!!!!!!!!"

"I heard you!!!!" I barked at him, leaving the man. I have other things to buy as well. The list she gave me was filled with groceries. The owner went back to pick a fight with the other man, but he was tired of his constant shouting.

Raoul had enough of that banana freak, especially as he shouted at me.

"How dare you yell at her? She didn't do anything to you!"

The owner got louder now, "That is none of your business!"

"I have no time to argue with you!"He turned on his heel, leaving him and his tantrums alone. Raoul was almost out of sight, no seeing him glaring in my direction. His eyes darkened, "Wait till Madame hears about this."

In the meantime, Lucille and her friends inspected the market.

Emile and Mort stood at the stand that sells cameras. For him was that a dream that came true, going through every item they offered. Lucille was at the one, opposite the camera stand. She looked over the several sweets the woman offered. She remembered how much Raoul loved sweets as a child, getting him a little bag. Francoeur, a little further away, smelled the flowers at the flower shop. However he didn't pay any attention to the lady selling them. His only interest was the smell. One after another scent went through his nostrils. He didn't seem to focus on his surroundings, suddenly colliding with another head. He could hear a woman, wince in pain.

"Ow!" I moaned out, holding my head.

I looked at the giant man, in his white suit. I couldn't see his face, as a hat and mask hides it. He too, touched his head making an odd sound, which sounds like an 'ouch'. "Can you speak?" I asked him. He shook his head. "Are you alright?" I got a little closer, touching his cheek. He froze at the contact. For a minute, we both stood there, looking into each other's eyes. Slowly, he began to smile...I joined him soon after. Somehow, he reminds me of someone, "Do I know you?"

Francoeur shrugged. How should he?

"Mister, as an apology you should get the lady a rose" said the woman from the stand. Her voice got us back to reality. Francoeur's smile widened, I shook my head no, "No, no, you don't have to do that. Really, it is no big deal."

Instead of listening to me, he pointed at a large bouquet of roses. The woman was delighted, "50 red roses...what a gentleman!" You are pleased that he pays for such a large bouquet, I thought.

He was about to hand me the roses, as he noticed the bags in my hand. I couldn't carry it all including the present. My eyes widened, as he took my bags and switched them with the bouquet. "Hey, what do you think you are doing?" From that moment, he didn't leave my side. He followed me around, while I could get the rest of the list. Normally I should be pleased of the extra help, but the fear of a certain woman. Madame Loret will kill me, when she finds out about this. The main rule for me was not to talk to strangers...and now, that one is walking beside me. Nothing I said stopped him from following. I tried it, by going fast, turn corners quickly, but somehow...he was able to catch up.

"Seriously, you are worse than any flea!" I had no idea that I hit a spot there.

Francoeur didn't show it, but he was hurt by that comment.

I started to panic; his appearance got her some stares now. He is the tallest man I ever seen and his white suit was an eye catch. Some owners know me and might tell Loret about this. They are already looking suspicious at us. The last thing I want is to have a fight today.

How can I get out of this situation?
