A/N sorry the last chapter was really boring, I'll try to make the rest better.

Well, the truth is. I have this huge crush on Rylan as I always have had. I honestly don't think he feels the same about me. If he does he had never showed it. I couldn't blame him I had the same boyfriend for two years. His name was Dexter, we started dating in sixth grade. Broke up in the eighth grade when I found out he had been cheating on me with my 'bestfriend' Blair. When I found out I immediately broke up with him. He then told everyone at school that I was a slut. So my last year of middle school sucked. And I was left with only a few true friends. Rylan always came to my house to check up on me. We got a lot closer than we already we're.

----Friday morning----

I woke up to the 'sweet' sound of jake coming and telling me to wake up by hitting pots and pans together. "SHUTUP. And get out of my room right now!!" With that he left and I put on this grey sweater with lips on it, my skinny jeans, and black high tops. As I was about to brush my hair and do all of that stuff, my phone dinged.

*text message from Cassie😚🐠*

Cassie😚🐠 : come to my house after school. IMPORTANT.

Me: okay?..

*end of texting*

I started to blast my music, because why not? I started to brush my hair/teeth, and put on mascara, concealer, and deodorant. I decided to put my hair in this side fishtail braid because I was have a bad hair day. I went and got shaving cream and put it in my hand and slapped jake
"SMACK CAM!" I screamed.

"You'll regret that later." He says

"Oh I know I will, but its funny right now. And plus I honestly don't really care."

I went and made me a bowl of Lucky Charms. I went back up stairs grabbed my back pack and phone and ran out the door. Outside I met Rylan waiting for me.

"What are you doing here?"

"Stalking you obviously" he says jokingly.

"You're not that good at it then cause I caught you" I replied giggling.

We started to walk to the bus stop. When he grabbed my hand

"Were gonna walk to school weather you want to or not." He says

"Whatever." I said laughing

The school really isn't that far from our neighborhood were just lazy.

I started to think about how if we ever date (which we won't) what about when we break up? We won't ever talk again, I know we wouldn't. It would be way to weird. Especially if we dated for a really long time.. And I don't want to ruin our friendship like that, just because I love him. Wait. Did I just say love? Oh no... Carter you can't 'love' him he's like your brother... Why am I even thinking about the future? When he's standing here right beside me? Live in the present.

"Whatcha thinking about?" He questioned

"Nothing important." I replied

"I think otherwise. You said 'I love him'. Oooohhh CARTER HAS A CRUSH!!" He said jokingly

"Oh shutup" I said giggling

We got to the school and he walked me to my locker. This is weird he barely ever does this. Something must be wrong.. Before I could ask him he kissed me on the cheek.

"I got to get to class. I'll see you later."

"Bye" I said and I was on my way to class. I sat exactly were I did yesterday. Between Paisley and Hazel.

*RING*

It was finally lunch. I walked to the cafeteria with Cassie as I always do.
Then someone bumps into me.

"Oh I'm sorry" I said embarrassed I looked up to see Dexter. I thought he moved!!

"Whatever." He said with an attitude

"I THOUGHT HE LEFT!" I whispered yelled in Cassie's ear.

"That's why Rylan walked you to school. I offered to drive you but he insisted he would walk with you."

I was pissed. THEY DONT THINK I COULD HANDLE IT? I can handle this. Im over him. I still hate him for it but I'm not gonna break down like I used to. I stormed off.

"WAIT!" Cassie yelled after me.

I ran. And I didn't stop. I sneaked out the doors. And I ran to the only place I could think of.
