Month 2:
We made a conference with the gods today. We are gonna go up to Olympus in 40 minutes. I crawl out of my beautiful bed that I share with Travis. Speaking of which, where is he?
"Trav, honey? Where are you?" I moan
"I'm right here." He says near me, obviously still in our bedroom.
"Were you watching me sleep?"
"There's a possibility I was."
"I love you, you know that?"
"I love you too, now let's get dressed and get biscuits cause I don't want to cook and I know your not gonna cook."
"True, babe, true. Can you get my black park leggings, blue and green tank with a big rose on it, and my blue flats?"
"Sure"
He grabs my outfit and I get dressed, not bothering to take a shower cause I don't feel like it, and then I twist my hair up in to a bun.
We are finally ready to go up to Olympus and tell the gods... This is will be bad, very very bad. We hop in the car and drive to the airport, where we board the plane. Then four hours later we are here where we go on the horrible elevator up to the top floor. The elevator is so bad, that I actually barf in a plant after going on it. We take the long walk to (Water, he he. I've heard that book is good, so I might read it, comment if you think I should!) the council room and face the gods of Olympus. I feel a horrible feeling in my stomach, but it's not just from the baby, it's from telling all the gods about our child.
"Ahh, Travis and Katie Stoll, what a nice surprise!" Zeus booms somewhat sarcastically
"Nice to see you again Lord Zues." Travis replies respectfully with a smile. I don't know how he does it. I just frown. Trav elbows me on the side.
"Ow! Not cool Stoll!" I exclaims and elbow him hard in the ribs.
"I hate pregnant people." He mutters quiet enough so none of the gods can hear, as he clutches his side in pain
"Whoops" I say monotonously.
"What are you here for, thief?" My mom demands angrily
"Mom, he's not a thief, he's my husband! Now calm down or you won't get to hear our good news!" I say loudly, so all the gods can hear.
"OOOH KEEP IT GOIN KEEP IT GOIN WHATS THE GOOD NEWS??!!!" Aphrodite asks, fangirling.
"Well," I start, and Trav wraps his arm around my waist, and I do the same, just for moral support. "Im pregnant!" I exclaim excitedly.
We get mixed reactions. First let's start with the good ones:Aphrodite is of course more than happy, Hera was also excited, and Hephaestus, Apollo, Artemis (she was visiting), Zues, Athena, and Poseidon are all happy for us. Dionysus and Ares just don't give a flying fart about it. But then there is our parents.
"Excuse me?" My mother asks with venom in her voice
"Demeter, she said she's pregnant, don't you have ears? Just be happy for them!" Hermes chides
"Uhh, no. I do not like that filthy son of yours having a child with my favorite, and most powerful daughter!" Demeter hisses
"Mom, calm down. It takes two to make a baby. It's not Trav's fault!" I plead. I don't want my husband to be blasted!
"How far are you along, Katherine?" Mom asks
"Umm, about a month 1/2." I reply. She blows a hair out of her face angrily.
"You know what, I'm going to try to tolerate this stupid piece of manure you call a husband, only because it will make you happy, Katie."
"Thank you so much mom!"
"Yo Travis, my man!" Hermes calls, and Trav's ears perk up.
"Yah, dad?" He asks
"Congrats son, I'm happy for you! I'll finally be a grandparent again!"
"Well, you two probably have some sort of weird appointment thing or what ever you call the,, so you can
