Proposal

Andrea's POV

    I just finished teaching Ryan to control his bloodlust, and he seems off, different. But, that could be to expected from a newbie vampire. I said, " Ryan, What is going on?"

   He stood up, and wiped the leaves off his jeans. He said, " What do you mean?"

    I said, " What are you really trying to do? You haven't been nice to me, much. Yet, lately you are."

   He said, " Fine. I want to marry Hope, and want your help to set it up."

    I said, " You already got permission from Dad?"

 He said, " Yes, I did."

    I laughed, and said, " Really?"

  He said, " Yes, Klaus gave me permission to marry Hope. He even gave me your mother's ring, Elijah had given her."

   His hand went into his back pocket, and he pulled out a ring box. He opened it, and it has Mom's Crescent moon ring, with a sapphire. I said, " How could he give that to you? That ring was promised to me."

  He said, " Andrea. I saw the memories of Hayley speaking of the ring to Caroline, and Klaus. She has gotten two rings from Elijah, one with an emerald, and this one with the sapphire. She promised this very ring to Hope, and the other for you, when you decide to marry, someone."

   I said, " I don't understand! She told me I would get that very ring. The blue sapphire was my favorite of my mother's."

   He said, " Andi."

     I said, " Don't call me that."

  He said, " Andrea, you need to calm down. Hayley promised this ring to Hope, you get the other one."

   I sped inside to Caroline's and Dad's room. I knock on the door, and Caroline opened the door. She said, " Andrea. What's wrong?"

    She opened the door, and let me in. I didn't see Dad, but I heard the shower running. I said, " Did mom promise the sapphire ring to Hope?"

   Caroline said, " Yes, this one is for you."

   She moved a painting, and grabbed something. She handed it to me, and said, " Here."

   I opened it, and it showed the crescent ring with the emerald. She said, " I wasn't supposed to show you it, till you would get married."

  I said, " You keep it."

   I handed it back to Caroline, and said, " I am sorry for barging in here. I needed to know the truth. I thought Ryan was lying about the rings."

   She said, " Oh, Ryan is proposing to Hope?"

 I said, " Yes, he wants me to help him propose to her."

    She smiled, and said, " Then go help him. You are Hope's twin, and know her best."

    I said, " I barely know her. We haven't been together since Mom died."

       She said, " You have been with her for 3 months, and I see you both have your connection back. Just think about what she would want."

   I said, " How?"

     She said, " Think like Hope."

   I smiled, and said, " Thanks, Caroline."

   She smiled, and hugged me. She said, " You should get some rest, Andi."

    I said, " I know."

     I sped outside of her room, and to Hope's, and Ryan's room. I knocked on the door, and Ryan opened it, now in his pajamas.
