Mio's POV

I heard a foreign ringing sound near where I slept, to which I woke up. I opened my eyes and saw the source of the sound, I reached on it and turned the alarm clock off. I then sit on my bed rubbing my eyes and then I stood up and walk to my room's bathroom to take a shower.

It is my 2nd day after I joined this unknown group that they called themselves as the UN and the group that helped free myself from Muzan's control, and it is this day that they will do an experiment that they will try and attempt to attach a 'device' they called 'Neural Augmentation'.

And on how I ended up here is it was because of the other day. Yesterday they did a couple of experiments on me, like eating human foods, which I was surprised that the food did not taste bad and had me on tears that I can reminisce the taste of normal foods from my past when I was still human. And after some experiments are done, they interviewed me about my past life as human and a demon, and without hesitations I answered the questions they asked me honestly.

After the interview was finished, I was guided to a room that they said that it will be my personal home and to which we entered, although the room can barely house in 4 people, I was baffled as I saw many furnitures and many foreign things that I have not yet seen or familiar with, but I was taught on how to operate the 'appliances' for 2 hours.

When they finished teaching me, they left me in this room and I was then laying down on the bed which is surprisingly soft that I immediately got to sleep.

That's why I ended up in this room and taking a shower at the bathroom.

'What does 'Neural Augmentation' mean anyway?'  I pondered while rinsing myself

After a few minutes I finished taking a shower I walked near a wall with a mirror attached to it which revealed my new appearance, I have 2 short black horns protruding on my forehead and unlike my previous appearance, my face is now more human in appearance, because my face doesn't have veins bulging out like before.

And then after that I wore light blue 'overalls' similar to the ones I worn yesterday and a 'pantsu' as my underwear from what they called it. I then exited my room and walked to the room where I was being experimented on yesterday, I then met some 'personnels'.

"Yo lassie!"  I saw the person wearing an orange overalls and looked like a 26 year old man said in Japanese

"Where are you going?"  the other person in full black armor asked

"I... I'm going to the experimentation room..."   I meekly answered, since I was a shy person towards strangers or people that I am not quite acquainted with.

"Hmm, have you already taken your breakfast?"  the man in orange outfit asked

"Breakfast..?"  I then asked him back

"I guess she have not yet eaten breakfast, bro."  the man in full armor said to his colleague

"Well then, how about we three go together to the mess hall?"  the man in orange outfit said

"But...my scheduled...experimentati-"  before I could finish my sentence, the man in orange outfit retorted

"Look, those 5hea- I mean researchers are willing to wait for an hour for you to arrive."  he said

"And besides, having an empty stomach during an experimentation, would be bad for you and in turn hinder your experimentation."  he further reasoned to which I gave a few seconds to think about it, and then I meekly nodded to them to which the 2 walked beside me and asking questions while walking towards the cafeteria including from my past life
