Hey guys the picture above is Skylar. I hope you enjoy, chapter 1!!
-------------------

"Josefina!! There's a lady at the front desk." Mr. Lepton shouts, his block face flashing scarlet red, eyeballs ready to bulge out of their sockets. Josie scrambles to her feet, quickly hiding her phone in a drawer. "I do not pay you to sit on your ass all day and do nothing!" He grabs her arm pulling her out of the seat and shoves her through the door. We only worked part-time for Mr. Lepton, he owns a modeling business and we are his secretaries. I know what your thinking... Shouldn't we be modeling? Well that's the thing, we signed up to model and got this job instead.

He's a narcissistic prick, but we need the money. Josefina lives by herself, she was kicked out at twelve, a school drop out by fourteen, I save all my old assignments and try to give her basic lessons over the summer. Except she has other plans, late nights at college parties and alley streets with the dealers, it's gotten worse and now my parents say I have to stay away from her, but she's my best friend.

I lean my head out the doorway and see Josie dealing with a very angry model while Mr. Lepton talks feverishly into his phone. He's in a bad mood again, maybe he'll end work early again today like he did yesterday. Josie is pretty sure he's a creep because how many models come in after our shift to get more practice for posing. It's not like he is hideous for his age, but the fact that he's 42 just makes him gross.

Jessica walks past my desk and plops down a pile of papers on my desk, "Organized and meeting papers in separate folder on top. Oh and I need it in an hour also bring me a coffee extra sugar." I roll my eyes in disgust, she's second in charge, Mr. Lepton follows her around like a puppy dog. Josefina almost convinced me to hire a hit man for Jessica, it was tempting. What stopped me was I'm not going to let just anybody kill her, I'd do it personally. Josefina faked a sniffle and said my little girl is growing up.

Josefina disappeared for awhile and I cracked down on the workload from Jessica. The clock flies by and before I know it, the hour is up and I'm running the papers to Jessica's office.

Knocking on the door, I use my elbow to turn the handle taking a step in side trying not to spill her coffee. "It's about damn time." Jessica hisses through her teeth, glaring at me with, putting every ounce of hate she has into it. I place the papers down on her desk and handing her the coffee.

"Is that all Jessica?" I ask biting my tongue.

"Yes darling now get the hell out of my office!" I turn on my heel and leave the room letting the door slam behind me in the process. Turning the corner a bit too quickly I crash into Josie.

"Oh sorry Josie didn't see you. Jessica is getting on my nerves again. She gave me a stack of forms to fill out and organize and then yelled at me for turning them in late when I was actually five minutes early than the time she gave me. I should of spilled the damn coffee on her." Josie lets out a laugh.

"You should of, it would be a tragedy to see her new hair do from the salon be ruined. And coffee is a bitch to get out clothes." Josie says as she stands there and imagines the evil act being done.

"Hey our shifts are over so wanna go somewhere today?" I begin to walk to my desk to gather my stuff up.

"Sure, lets go shopping we have a party to go to tonight." Josefina squeals, and begins to dance in the office.

"Fine but if it gets to crazy I'm out of here." I warn her as we walk out the building. I climb into my black impala, Josie slips into the passenger seat.

"So can we go Hot Topic? I heard they have a new clothing line there now." I roll my eyes and put my car into drive. We both roll down our windows and turn the radio onto 'Animals' by Maroon 5, singing at the top of our lungs. Josie dances in her seat next to me while I try to avoid the asshole who is riding my tail down the street. I pull into mall parking lot and it's packed. I find a spot right by the front door and speed my way up there, Josie lets out an ear piercing scream and I slam on the breaks as a little girl runs from out in front of my car, I slam my hand to the horn and the mother runs out and picks up the child. "Damn kids." Josie mutters under breath, I nod in agreement my heart pounding beneath my chest. I slowly continue to turn into the parking spot and we make our way to the front doors of the mall. We slip past Cinnabon and grab a coffee. I look around the mall, it was full of musty teenager girls with their boyfriends and the moms dragging six annoying screaming kids, and any room to get past them was filled with old slow Elderly people. Josie snags my arm causing me to almost drop my coffee and drags me toward hot topic. We enter and Josie's favorite song 'Thinking out loud' comes on and she sings along while scrolling through the store. I stop at the t-shirt area, I love to check out there awesome collection of fandom shirts.
