Do you often set a day or time when this new beginning will start? You say, "right from the day forward will be a new beginning for me". You have it figured out, but what comes after this day? I've often slipped back into a version of myself that I wasn't happy with simply because it was familiar and more effortless.
It's not going to be easy because easy isn't an option. You must take personal responsibility to continue forward because it will be hard. You must believe that you can do this, even when that belief is non-existent because you're the only one who can make it happen.
Life isn't giving you a straight path to what you want to achieve. It will challenge you; make you want to give up. But if you prevail, the result is that you've improved yourself; you're a better version than you were previously.
I want to encourage you who may be at the bottom, or you may be at the top. I don't care if you're the smartest or the dumbest because it's not intelligence that will get you where you want to be. It's pure hard effort.
So, you keep sitting on the couch and see where you'll end up. You keep taking shortcuts and see where you'll end up. You keep blaming others or wallowing in self-pity and see where you'll end up. You keep dreaming and not putting forth the effort and see where you end up. Achievement is about effort. Nothing you can say or do is going to change that. So, the question is, do you want to sit and complain about it or are you going to wake up every morning with the purpose of effort for achievement? The choice is yours because it's your life.
Stay tuned for part 2 – The technique beyond the new beginning.
