Dean had grown way to fond of the trench coat wearing angel. Naturally, he would push back the thought that Castiel, the man who had brought him back and saved his and his brother's ass more than once, was working with Crowley. He wouldn't, Dean knew that Castiel was better than that, he was his friend for God's sake! Or...would he? He could feel a hint of doubt nibbling at the back of his mind.
"He wouldn't, he's our friend, Bobby!" Dean muttered, running a hand through his hair and sighing. The Winchester's and Bobby failed to notice the fallen angel standing beside the doorway, watching them intently, a hint of what could be classified as sadness and a touch of guilt. Castiel knew that what he was doing was wrong but it was the best option he had. He studied Dean, his bright blue eyes staring intently at the slightly taller man. Dean was fidgeting, refusing to believe that Cas would betray them like that.
"Cas is like family..." the green-eyed Winchester mumbled, shoving his hands into his pockets and staring at the ground.
Castiel's eyes widened slightly, the thought of being a Winchester surprising him. Sure, he loved the Winchesters, especially the damn freckled-one, but could they really say that after what he was doing? Just my looking at Dean, Castiel could tell that his loyalty was thinning, every instinct in his body telling him that Cas was lying. He looked at his hands then back at the confused face of Dean Winchester before vanishing.
Dean briefly glanced at the doorway, a sudden chill passing the room.Damn, this was going to be a long night.
((It's really late ok))
