11-20: Vocabulary

For better memorisation, I have created a little story to remember them better.

Each chapter will be released every day or two.

1. Name:
名前 - なまえ - namae
"There aren't many times the teacher calls out my なまえ, but when she does, she usually yells it"

2. Fountain Pen:
万年筆 - まんねんひつ - mannenhitsu
"Work can be a very busy place. So occasionally I forget my 万年筆"

3. Form a Line:
   並ぶ - ならぶ - narabu
"The kids chatted amongst themselves in a disorderly manner. "並ぶ", yelled the teacher!"

4. Always:
   いつも - itsumo
"Australia has 4 seasons of summer and when it いつも, it floods"

5. However/But:
   しかし - shikashi
"In life, there is always something to do, しかい, there's is also nothing"

6.  To Borrow:
   かりる - kariru
"Max seems to always かりる but never return"

7.  To Stand:
   立つ - たつ - tatsu
"立つ screamed the lieutenant! We need to go!"

8. Sweater:
   セーター - せえたあ - seetaa
"Japanese winter is lovely. セーター and ramen and you're good to g9!"

9.  Different:
   違う - ちがう - chigau
"Every person is said to be unique, but... there are people that are 違う. Wink wink"

10. To Want Something:
   欲しい - ほしい - hoshii
"Kids screaming about 欲しい Lego always gets to me. I mean, have they ever stepped on one?"
