Chapter 7

I Immediately ran to the house and packed my stuff. I was done around 6:15. I told Ryan "we could still keep contact."
"Of course. Where you going?"
"Uh...you know I found my...real father..."
"What." He sounded relieved and baffled at the same time. 
"Well we tamed and stuff but i me-"
"Yea and!?"
"Well if you could stop cutting me off I could finish! He was at the courthouse"
"Judge?"
"No, attourney. Matt Murdock. Apparently they came to the courthouse on the wrong date and i recalled seeing his name on my birth certificate. Its like I was supposed to meet him. He remembers me as a baby and stuff."
"That's huge, and you're staying with him?"
"Yes, he's gonna make it all official with The courts and systems. What about you."
"Since I'm 18, im legally an adult. Brett says he's gonna find me some people to help me out finding a job, getting and affordable apartment. I think I want to go to college."
"Since you two thugs were so happy to leave, get your shit and leave." yelled the Richard. He had alcohol on his breath, as usual. He hovered over us and breathed heavy with rage. I cowered and put my head down holding my arm .
Ryan grabbed me and said guided me away.
We made it outside, I hugged Ryan. 
"In gonna miss seeing you around every morning. Where are you staying for the time being?"
"Leo's mom is letting me stay with them."
"Really. Anyways I gotta go catch a cab."
"I could ask Leo if he could take you...he's picking me up."
"Thanks... Matt gave me money for a cab."
"Save it, he'll take you."

Leo arrived and he was glad to take me to Matt's apartment. When I left I didn't even say bye.
"What's the address, Wren?"
"Its the apartment building on 75th avenue."
When we passed the alley on YellowStone Parkway, there was a crash at an intersection, which slowed down traffic a bit.
It took about 15 minutes to get there.
"I'll help you take your bags upstairs. What's the room number?"
"Thanks. It's On the fifth floor room B26."
"They better have an elevator!"
"I'm pretty sure."
We grabbed my 4 bags out the trunk and went into the building. We walked down the hall looking for Rm.B26. I found it on the end of the hall.
I knocked on the door and announced it was me.
After 30 seconds the door opened.
"Hi Matt it's me Wren."
When he faced me he had a scratch over his right eyebrow.
"What happened to your face?"
"Oh uh..I ran into a wall."
"You gotta be careful."
"I've told him to get a dog hundreds of Times!" I heard Foggy yell from the inside.
"Well you gonna come inside or admire the hall?" He laughed.
"Oh right. This is my brother Ryan and his friend Leo."
"Nice to meet you Leo."
"You too sir."

I walked in and and it was dark except in one room. That was the room Foggy was in. "You can stay in there."
"Thanks again Matt. Really thank you."
"Nice meeting you. Leo, Ryan." He said.
" You too, also thank you so much for this, Wren was the only good thing that came out of our situation."
"No problem."
