2 weeks later

I was changing Mari diapers getting ready to breast feed him. It was 10 o'clock in the morning and his father was on his way home with breakfast since I didn't felt like cooking.

My bsf had went back home yesterday and was supposed to be going out on a date today. I sat on the bed holding my baby up as he feed off me .

I held my phone in one hand texting and scrolling. I looked up when Kevin walked in.

"Finally , what took so long bae" I asks putting down my phone.

"The line was a bit long" he said coming over to sit on side of us. "Hmm" he handed me my plate.

He move Mari away from my breast slowly laying him down on the bed. He went back to sleep as Kevin pat on his back smoothly.

I fix my clothes and started eating turning my focus on the tv. "Our anniversary coming up again soon" Kevin mentioned.

I looked at him surprise that he even brought it up "I know babe"

"What you got in mind" he asks smacking down his food. I took another bite before I reply "how about you surprise me"

He give me a look and grin " alright bet I got you"

I give him a small kiss on his lips and he just pulled me back kissing me again. "Im gone be home in the house all week long " he said resting his empty plate on the side.

"Why bae even tho I'm not complaining " I said taking a next bite handing my plate over to him. He rest it on top of his plate and pull me towards him to lay down on his chest.

"Don't worry bout it" he said making me pout and look up at him throughout my lashes.

"Bae don't play with me" I said and he look back down at me before he rub on my chin.

"Calm down , I gotta stay low from 12 fo a min don't worry bout that I'm straight"

"Kevin" I place my hand on my head bout to get up before he pulled me back.

"Bruh chill this not nothing new I'm good baby don't even trip"

"I'm not . But think about your family and what we're going through when this happens" I said looking directly at him.

Just when he was about to answer back my phone ring loud. I quickly grab it up so it won't wake up my baby and it was my mama video calling.

I sigh and picked up the phone with Kevin's eyes still lock on me. I rolled my eyes and turn my focus on the screen.

"Hey mama"

"Heyy what you doing" she said walking into her living room.

"Nothing I'm at home in bed with Kamari passed out asleep" I said yawning laying down. "I just ate so I'm of kinda tired again not gone lie"

"I ain't see you bringing any food over here and show me my grand baby"

Kevin had got up to play game at the end of the bed. I flip the camera on Mari so she can see him "ma I didn't even cook today Kevin brought it and I told you he sleep"

"Don't make no excuses . Just get it done next time and me and your father been wanting to spend time with our only grandson" she said biting into an apple.

I flipped the camera back on me and threw my feet up cross each other. I smile and shake my head "okay ma I will and when? You know he's free to see y'all anytime"
