The Offer.

Y/n POV

I sat down in what looked to be a conference room filled with people. There were two agents posted at the door as a man with dark attire and a black eyepatch walked in.

I could tell this man was important just by the way he presented himself, the avengers all stood around the table where I sat.

Loki and Thor were standing the closest to me.

As the doors closed behind the man, I straightened up a bit, my hand going straight to my dagger.

The guy took a seat and studied me.

"What's with the eyepatch , pirate man, copying Odin now?" I questioned , staring back.

Everyone look surprised, Loki grinned clearly amused.

"My name is Nick Fury, the head of SHIELD." He introduced himself as if my comment didn't faze him.

"Well you already know my name but just for effects, my name is y/n l/n, goddess of dragons, at your service." I smiled as I saw out of the corner of my eye, Stark rolling his eyes.

"What was the meaning of your first visit." He questioned.

"Oh you know, just the usual escaping your kidnapper from out of space who is obsessed with magic stones and genocide, only to wind up on planet he want me to come to anyway to retrieve the time stone with my dragons." I breathed out, frustrated at the thought of him using my dragons for such a useless plan.

"And how did you escape?" He eyed me suspiciously.

"Oh I almost killed him if it weren't for squidman, so I escaped with my dragons by flying on them when I managed to break them out." I internally winced at the memory.

The team exchange warily glances.

"I mean she did take us all out easily, she took down Thor even." Clint mentioned.

"Did I forget to mention shes worthy?" Loki announced, eyeing Thor as he captured the attention of the others.

Thor sighed, and placed the hammer at my foot indicating me to lift it. So I stood up and wrapped my hands around it. And lifted the hammer as if it weighed nothing.

"O..ok. So she's stronger than all of us combined then?" Tony sighed as if he was surrendering which made me laugh, amused by how tired he sounded.

"I could offer you a deal y/n." Fury said, catching my attention once more.

"Okay what is it?"

"Would you like to join the avengers?" His offer stunned me. Me joining the avengers? I looked around seeing everyone looking thoughtful and agreeing with the idea. My eyes landed on Loki's and he smiled at me and then gave a look that said 'you don't have to do it if you don't want to'. I smiled at the thought of me fighting with the avengers and hanging out with Thor and obviously Loki.

And then something hit me,Thanos, they wouldn't stand a chance if he came to attack, and they would need to trust me. I was now overthinking but either way my answer would be yes, now that the brothers were here, the fun on Asgard was kind of lost.

I looked back up, eyeing fury," Why not?" I smirked.

This would be fun.
