Am I catching feelings for Allan? Really?

I can't believe that I started to have feelings for my best friend. I mean, we have been friends for a long time now, but the thing is - ngayon ko lang naramdaman ito sa kanya. Allan has always been by my side. Kung iisipin ko, mas matagal ko pa siya nakakasama kisa sa mga libro kong binabasa. As the sun started to set that time, the atmosphere changed, and the sky became a breathtaking shade of orange. At that moment, everything felt perfect. His smile was so vivid and warm. It's like it's etched into my memory. I can close my eyes and see it so clearly as if I'm back in that moment. It fills me with a sense of peace and happiness every time I think about it. Pero bakit ba ngayon ko lang to naramdaman? Bakit hindi pa dati?

Mababaliw na ata ako sa kakaisip nito.

Standing in front of the mirror, I quickly dressed in my casual outfit - a white t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers. I grabbed my backpack and camera before heading outside, taking a deep breath to steady my nerves.

I stepped out of my house and was greeted by a beautiful day - the sun was shining and the temperature was just right. Alam mo yung pakiramdam ng comfort weather? Yung days na masasabi mo na 'sana ganito nalang ang panahon araw-araw'. The weather made me happy. It was comforting at some point.

This day is a good day.

I was standing there, lost in thought when I noticed a black car parked outside my house. It caught my attention and snapped me back to reality. Sino kaya to? I slowly went outside and saw him. Alister? What is he doing here? How did he know my address? I was surprised to see him standing outside, leaning against his car. He was wearing a gray jacket and scrolling through his phone, looking like he had been waiting for a while. It was an unexpected sight, and I couldn't help but feel mixed emotions as I approached him.

"Alister?" I said

He slowly walked toward me and smiled. "Hi! Akhira."

"Hi, Alister," I smiled back, "Anong ginagawa mo dito? How did you know my address?"

"Well, I asked Trishia about your address, and obviously, she gave it to me," he said. Si Trishia talaga. "I am here because I was hoping sana for us to do the assignment today. Are you free?" he continued.

"Free naman ako ngayong araw. I just need to go to school para ibigay ang mga materials for designs para sa foundation day. Part kasi ako ng art club."

"Well, if that's the case, ihatid na kita sa school, and from there, we can go to our site."

Our site? Where could that be?

"If ok lang sayo, no problem ako." I smiled.

"I would be more than happy to do so," he said with a big smile, opening the door to the front seat. "Come on, get inside. You can put your bag and camera in the back seat."

As I climbed into the car, I placed my bag and camera in the back seat as he had instructed. As I turned around, I noticed a tripod, paint, and a blank canvas in the back of the car. I couldn't help but wonder about the items, but I didn't want to be too nosy. "What are those for?" I asked, trying to sound casual.

When he entered the driver's seat, he looked at me with a confused face. Suddenly, our eyes met. Eto nanaman tayo sa mga mata mo Alister. His eyes were so beautiful that I felt hypnotized; after a while, he then smiled.
