Carlos's death

The night of the day that I confessed to Carlos he died he was hanging out with Taylor. he was walking backward and fell off the cliff as he landed on his back that gentle look lost his face.

as the sad bells rang his coffin was no longer filled with life. As it was my turn to make my speech to send him 6 feet under I said yes it's true I liked him a lot he could never bring himself to love me back.

I wish him the best in heaven he was a great man and I hope his parents are coping well with the loss of their son as I tossed my rose onto his coffin the church bells continued to ring.

The next day the school announced his death and we made a prayer to bless his soul although I didn't  I didn't care much for religion I prayed with them.

At lunch, it was so dull no one was talking there were more tears than sounds even for the people that never knew him. I spotted Taylor sitting alone I went up to him and asked how are you holding up "I miss my best friend" they said in response as I hugged them. I said it's going to be okay they looked at me and said thank you I hugged them for the rest of the lunch period.
