"She's a being of the purest form and can become whatever she so wishes to."

"And how do you know this?"

Kimi looked at Pain with curious eyes as he spoke with Madara. She was intrigued to say the least. It had never occurred to her that she could be so "pure". Not with the things she says and writes.

"Because I've been watching her since she arrived. My eyes see everything."

"So.. what exactly does this entail?"

"Well, she can become whatever type of thing that she wants. For example, if she thinks of herself as one of your kind, she'll simply become a vampire. Or any other creature. Be it a yokai, vampire, fairy, witch. You get the point."

"I see. Do you think she's a danger to us?"

Madara glanced at Kimi and she quickly looked away, averting her eyes to the floor. Sasuke looked down at her and grabbed her hand, gently rubbing his thumb back and forth on top of her hand in an attempt to soothe her anxiety.

"Hey, you okay?"

"Yea, I'm fine. Thank you."

"Hey, come here." Sasuke gently pulled her hand, causing her to fall into him and he wrapped an arm around her. "It's alright, I've got you."

Kimi's face flushed as she nodded. She wasn't used to seeing Sasuke be so affectionate. He's usually one of the more cold and cut off characters in her favorite anime. She tuned everyone else out as she turned to stare up at him.

"What is it?"

"You're different from what I expected. You're not at all like you are in the world you originally come from."

Sasuke tilted his head curiously, "The world I originally come from?"

"Yes. Here, I'll show you. Can we leave or do we need to stay?"

"You can go. Stay with Sasuke."

Sasuke smiled, nodding to Madara, "Thank you grandfather."

Sasuke quickly stood up, helping Kimi to her feet and pulled her over to the door, stepping out with Kimi following. She sighed in relief as the door closed behind her and Sasuke began walking with his arm around her waist.

When they made it back to his room, she sat on his bed and pulled her phone out, humming as she looked for the video she wanted to show him. Once she found it, she handed him the phone watching as he stared at the screen.

"Naruto?"

"Mhm. That's the name of the anime. He's the star, of course."

Kimi giggled, flinching as she heard Itachi's voice and sighed quietly, biting her lip as she stared down at her feet. Sasuke watched intently, his eyes widening as the sound of a body hitting the ground sounded through the room.

"K-Kimi what.. is this? Why is.. is that me and Itachi fighting? Did he.."

Kimi sighed, taking the phone from him, "Sorry. Probably not the best episode to show you. But yes, you killed Itachi. But only because you were lied to and misled. It's a long story but-"

"Tell me. I want to know everything. Itachi is everything to me so I don't understand why on earth I would ever kill him."

"Alright, but this is going to take a while."

"All I have is time."

"What?! Why? Why would.."

"Listen, it's okay Sasuke. It's a completely different world. Don't worry, it won't happen here. Just breathe, relax."

Sasuke's nervous demeanor slowly changed and he let out a heavy sigh, tilting his head as he stared at the girl across from him in amazement.

"Wow, you're really into it then, aren't you? You know a lot about side characters."

Kimi giggled and turned, raising the back of her shirt to show her Uchiha clan crest tattoo.

"I love me some Uchiha boys. You guys are so dreamy."

Sasuke stared at her tattoo, grin ning as he reached out to touch it, "Wow. Did it hurt? Is it a brand?"

"No silly, Its a tattoo. They're done with needles. Have you never gotten one or seen someone get one?"

"No. I'm not sure they do that here."

"Oh they do. You'd just have to find someone who's willing to stay open late enough to give you one."

"Oh, I see. Well then, would you like to go with me?"

Kimi grinned and nodded quickly as she sat up on her knees, "I'd love to."

"You know.." Sasuke watched as Kimi fixed her shirt. "We can go out into the sunlight. We have special jewelry that was charmed by a witch."

"Mhm, was it Sakura?"

"How'd you know?"

Kimi shrugged, "Intuition I guess. So, does that mean you want to go out tomorrow?"

"Yea. We can go out if you want. But you have to stay close to me. The supernatural creatures in this world will eat you alive."

"Yea, I can imagine. Oh, would it be too much trouble to ask for a bath?"

Sasuke chuckled, shaking his head. "No, of course not. You've been here for a while so I'm sure you'd like to get cleaned up. Just come with me."

"Okay." Kimi stood up, following Sasuke out of the room. She looked around as they walked down the halls, stopping outside of a door. Sasuke turned to her as he knocked on the door. "We'll have to ask to use Itachi's bathroom. Mine only has a shower."

"Oh, okay then."

The door opened and Itachi raised a brow, "What do you need, little brother?"

"Can we use your bathroom? Kimi wants to take a bath."

"Yes of course, come in."

Itachi smiled and stepped aside, allowing Kimi and Sasuke to step into the room. Kimi looked around, her attention immediately drawn to the bookshelf in the corner. Sasuke and Itachi watched as she walked over, examining the books. Her eyes lit up at the sight of her favorite novel and she pulled it off the shelf, grinning.

"This is my favorite! Would you mind if I borrowed it? I promise I'll take really good care of it!"

"Yea of course. That's fine."

Sasuke cleared his throat. "Itachi, I'd like you to help her with her bath if you don't mind. I need to go find her some appropriate clothing to go to town in."

Itachi nodded, smiling. "Of course Sasuke. Take your time. She's in good hands."

"Yes, I'm well aware of that." Sasuke walked over, kissing Kimi's forehead and her face flushed as she stared up at him. "I'll return soon. Behave for Itachi."

Sasuke stepped out of the room, leaving Kimi and Itachi alone. Itachi walked over to her and she smiled softly as he guided her to the bathroom to run her bath.
