Is he the one who spoke earlier?, he seems to be of a higher status”. Ruby thought, trying hard to calm, release the tension and withstand the oppressive airs around him. 

The captives from other carriages were also led out. They were mostly composed of men who had brownish skins that seemed to have been tanned by the sun and had looked weak and frustrated looks.

“Move! Move!", Good for nothing's! With tied hands, there were led to a tall dark building that looked more like a warehouse. This building had nothing in common with modern-day buildings on Earth and was just all rocky and eeire.

The inside was spacious and seemed like it would house a thousand people.

“Damn! The ground feels so cold, how could I possibly stay here, Ruby's face contorted into a deep frown? They were made to stay on the hard ground with red orblood patches all around. 

“W. What's really happening.” Ruby's teeth rattled, and his throat felt sore. He wrapped his hands around his knees while keeping his eyes wide open.

The guards began conversing in hushed tones and were not paying attention to them anymore.

Looking around he could see a few pillars stained with dark blood that seemed to have stayed there for a long time. He his heart pulsate quickly and his faced became whiter.

Tap, he felt a hand on his shoulder, "You need to calm down", redo patted him. "The  those half-human idiots run this Outpost and it is normal for humans to be captured and turned to slaves. Just play along and you will be able to at least escape death". Redo said while taking quick glances around his eyebrows pressed together. Ruby couldn't ascertain what he was thinking.

"Half-human..."

At...least...escape death...

what does he mean... ", ruby muttered as pondered wondering what they really meant.

"Get to sleep fools!", a guard barked at them and continued whispering for some time in hushed tones.

"What can they really be discussing, our deaths huh?...", he could only muster up courage to close his eyes and hope he will be able to survive till the next day. 

He closed his eyes hoping that this was all a dream and he will wake up to his family--- "that's right his family!" 

"Mom....Dad.....Dan.....Old man...", he muttered silently as his eyebrows shook 

"Hey scaredy cat don't drop dead here", the young man who had teased him earlier spoke in hushed tones as he shot a sharp look at Ruby he cocked his head to the side. Ruby glanced at him and decided to ignore him.

"Hmmf, you looked well fed, it seems you have been having it peacefully for you for a long time, but you are now a captive don't act all cool, you irritate me". He spoke again in hushed tones this time lifting his eyebrows and clicking his tongue.

"You cowardly punk, do you have to take out your frustrations on him ", it was the friendly youth, redo. He rolled his eyes as he talked.

" Huh?, More brats plan to anger me, what hole did you crawl out from?"

"Hmmf!, take on your captors if you are not cowardly ", the redo continued not planning to back down he fired him a look of disgust.

"Damn you two", he looked at ruby and gave off a sinister smile, you sure you will be able to survive a week?", he ignored snickered Ignoring redo.

Ruby was taken aback for a moment, on a further thought he turned his eyes away to the guards conversing.

Thud Thud 

Peng! the door flew open. A tall man wearing a long black coat walked in with a chubby armored lad who taking short strides as he tailed behind the tall man . His chubby face wore a prideful smile as he looked around. He seemed to be a follower of the tall man, a short sword as by his waist and was covered in a silver sheath.

"Milord!" 

"Milord!"

"Humph" , the chubby man coldly harrumphed as he spoke to them guards "where is she". The tall man was silent as he kept an expressionless face. "She is the one", the guard pointed at the pale white girl she is the one.

"Interesting!", the black coated man gave off a sinister smile speaking for the first time.

Making slow but surprisingly quick steps he arrived near the young girl before  squatting down he looked at her closely probably inspecting her, while raising her jaw with his hands.

Y...you...you, the pale white girl uttered a few words. "Hmmm" the tall black coated man lips curved into a smile as he gave a look of satisfaction.

"hehehehe", a gave off a stifled laugh. " You are really a big catch, it's nice having you". He played with her jaw as his smilke became wilder. The pale white girl held his wrist trying to get them off her jaw. Giving a stifle laugh the tall man left her jaw as he stood up.

"You are really the Erica I have heard long about with so much impetus and pride. The girl narrowed her eyes clicking her tongue. But she couldn't hide her shuddering breaths.

"Take her out!", He turned to the guards waving his hands a bit amused.

"Yes sire!"She was picked up and led out by the guards from the room where she tried to struggle with them.

Get those hands off me! How dare you do this! You…", she threw her legs around as she was being led away her face showed a scared and helpless expression. Her voice could still be heard outside as he cursed at them.

 The guards were on their toes around the black coated man, he seemed to have a high status here. He exchanged eye content with the guards and they immediately nodded their heads.

"Sire!" Ruby managed to call out, he couldn't stand it any longer and spoke out.
