Dream's pov
It's been some time since I last saw my parents, 10 years to be exact, todays one of those days where they come to give me supplies,
"Ah hello Jenny!" I greeted as one of the castle servants set the basket down on the table,
"H-hello" she's been doing this for almost 10 years and she's still scared of me.
"YOUR HIGHNESS NO!" I herd one of the guards yell as he chased someone up the tower
"JENNY BLOCK THE DOOR WAY!" He yell as he desperately tried to drag the boy back down the stairs
Jenny quickly stood between the door way trying to close the door before a boy around my age maybe younger pushed him out of the way
"Hey! Don't push Jenny!" I yelled at the boy
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU?!" He completely ignored me as he drew his sword
"A hybrid, now please step away from Jenny" I said as I walked toward him
"DON'T ORDER ME FREAK!" He said as he tried to hit me with his sword, I just sided stepped and he went crashing to the ground
"Your highness!" Jenny quickly rushed over to him and helped him up
"JUST WAIT UNTIL I GET MY MUM AND DAD YOU'll BE EXECUTED!" He screamed as he stomped back down the stairs as the guard locked the tower doors locking me in again
Honestly if that's the one they adopted to replace me then their very stupid, I mean like they kingdom's gonna go bankrupt under his rule, what a brat!
I just went over to the basket they brought me this well to find that there's eggs, milk and vegetables,
"no meat this week," I sighed as I post the stuff in the fridge
(okay so this is set during the medieval time period but technology exist. not phones tho don't question my logic)
I got kinda hungry so I grabbed a pan and set on the stove turning on the flames and cracked 3 eggs onto it
A few minutes later my eggs where cooked, I set it aside as i cleaned the pan
Foolish's pov
How dare that disgusting freak?!
Just wait until I tell father! He'll surely kill him!
I was on my way to father's office and when I got there I stormed in and yelled
"FATHER!"
"Yes my son?" He said as he look up from his paper work
"A freak hybrid sneaked in! He in the tallest tower!" He immediately stood up
"Why where you over there?! You know that everyone in the castle is forbidden!"
"Yeah well I saw a maid being suspicious and I wanted to investigate it!" He sighed and walked over to me
"Well lets go see this beast,"
That's the end of the chapter, I am going to take a few days break because I didn't realize that starting another book right after you just finished one is very stressful
