[A/N: So, I kind of didn't want to update right away, but since I again accidentally uploaded half the chapter to the wrong story, I figured... might as well 😅
And I thought, along with showing Marley to Lana's cast mates, I'd show her to you too, so please enjoy this picture of her (credit: seems like this is "kerriganbelle" on Instagram)]

„Heeeeey", she greeted everyone with the biggest smile, thrilled to finally be among adults again after having spent over two months being with her daughter pretty much 24/7.
As usual, she was the last one to arrive and the rest of the cast was already here, waiting for the table read to start in one of the larger common rooms of the studio, by now there were almost more kids running around than adults.
„Hey, Karen!", Rebecca replied, laughing, „What's with the soccer mom haircut?"
„Oh stop!", Lana said, running a hand over her short bob, „I don't look like a Karen, do I?"
„Nah, you look fine", said Sean, „Like old times."
„Okay good... hey you!", she sat Marley's car seat down and started hugging everybody, most of the others barely managed to pay her any mind though, their eyes drawn to the little girl on the floor, sucking on her pacifier that covered almost half her face and a pair of large dark brown eyes blinking into the round, wide awake.
Lana had been against pacifiers until very recently when she discovered out of desperation that they helped keep Marley occupied and stay awake, and they also improved and extended her feedings, so in the end she had concluded that the benefits by far outweighed the risks of pacifiers.
As everyone was grouping around the newest ‚cast member' making the cutest little noises, Bex asked: „Why did you cut your long hair though, it was so gorgeous?"
„Oh well, let's just say, I'm a cuddler, and this young lady here is a little monkey grabbing everything she can get a hold of, and those two things just don't go well with long hair. Last week I almost had to cut her hand out of my hair! So I thought, you know what... it's easier to manage anyway, let's just go back to short. So I called Adam and Eddy and asked them whether they'd be okay with me cutting my hair short and they said they'd actually prefer it, they just didn't want to impose anything. Especially because the first scenes I'm going to shoot are the flashbacks in Hyperion Heights with Colin, as Roni. So like this, it's actually perfect."
„Right, seems like you're getting quite some make out action this season", said Bex, poking her friend in the ribs, „Good for you, girl! Sean AND Colin... and what do I get? N-A-D-A! I'm just a mom, but hey... who needs a man, am I right?"
„Well, boo-hoo, let me remind you, it was your choice to get yourself knocked up by my boyfriend, so #deal!"
„Yeah, well, anyway though... Oh my God, hey, Marley!", she joined the others and bowed down to the little girl in her car seat, „You seem to like all the attention, don't you? Oh dear, you're even cuter in person than on video!"
„Wait until she smiles at you, it's unreal! I fell in love all over again when she did it for the first time."
„You remember me? It's auntie Bex!"
Marley just blinked at her, sucking on her pacifier a little faster, her little fists left and right of her face.
„I think you're stressing her out", said Lana.
„Nonsense, she's just happy to see me, right, sweetie?", she asked in almost such a high pitched voice that only dogs should have been able to hear it.
