'Y/N! Get up! You're gonna be late for your first day of college!'  Mum screamed from the kitchen.
Slowly, you rolled over and glanced at the alarm clock sat on the nightstand. The time was 7:34am and you had to be at school by 8:00am. Tired as hell, you eventually rolled out of bed and pulled on your new uniform. Despite being tired, this was a huge deal to you, it was a new college so you vowed to make a good impression on everybody. After finishing off some appearance adjustments, you barged out of your room and ran to the bathroom. You almost exploded the toothpaste from how hard you squeezed the tube. As you scrubbed your teeth, you quickly checked your phone for any sort of reassuring updates from your friend who thankfully attended the place. None, typical of her though.

The time was 7:49am so you had 11 minutes to get out of your house and run to the school. Nearly falling down the stairs, you grabbed your practically empty bag off of the floor and shouted goodbye to your mum before flinging the door open. The college was about a 5 minute walk so after running a good minute or so, you eventually slowed down and broke into a relaxed walk.
Bestiee😤 - girl you're gonna be so late where are youu?!
Y/N - calm yourself im nearly there
Bestiee😤 - alright, just hurry up, i look like a muppet standing here by myself.
Y/N - trust me i'm walking as fast as i can!!
You just blatantly lied to your bestie but what else would you have said?

After a sort of brisk walk, you finally reached the place, only to be graced by your annoyed looking mate.
'Someone took their sweet old time' She giggled.
'Agh, sorry Imogen, I woke up real late' You replied, staring down at the floor.
'Whatever, let's go before they shut us out!' Imogen laughed as she pulled you inside.
The corridor was bustling with loads of people, running from class to class, chatting in bubbles or just plain old chilling around.
'You must be Y/N!' A random girl said, coming up to you and shaking your hand. 'Imogen here told me a lot about you!' She replied before walking off.

'Sorry, I was boasting a lot' Imogen muttered.
'I don't blame you' You laughed back.
In your short time in the corridor, you were constantly greeted by bustling groups of fellow students, all already knowing your name. Through all the haze, you noticed a group of boys staring at you from the corner of the room. After cheerfully saying goodbye to everyone, you gripped Imogen's arm and led her away from everyone.

'Hey, who are those lot?' You whispered, pointing at them in the corner.
'Ah, right. Guess I forgot to warn you about them.' She replied. 'Basically, they're the college's heartthrobs, all the girls faff over them and drool over them.'
'Oh, right. It's just that they kept staring at me, that's all.' You said.
'Probably because of the fact everyone's treating you as if you're a celebrity' Imogen chuckled.
'Sounds about right' You laughed back.
Suddenly, the school bell rang, prompting everybody to go to first period.

'Do you know where to go?' Imogen asked.
'I will be fine, see you soon!' You replied.
After waving goodbye, you both went your seperate ways to your classes. Finally, you made it to your classroom but a wave of embarrassment flushed you as everyone was already seated.
'Ah, you must be our new student!' The teacher sang as she got up from her desk.
'Oh, yes..' You muttered, feeling your cheeks burn up.
'Why don't you introduce yourself to the class?' She said.
'Right, my name is Y/N' You mumbled, giving a light bow to the class.

Out of the corner of your eye, you noticed
somebody staring at you. Their stare almost felt like it was burning into you so you couldn't help but look. It was one of the boys from the heartthrob group, the one that stared at you the most. He had deep dark eyes and chestnut hair and was chewing on a lollipop stick whilst he smirked at you.
'You can go take a seat right there, next to Yoongi.' The teacher said, pointing at the seat right next to him.
Quickly, you advanced to your seat and sat down, trying to adjust to the new atmosphere.

As you tried to concentrate, you couldn't help but notice the glances he gave you so just to see what he wanted, you turned to face him.
'Can I help you?' You asked politely.
'Nah, not really, just admiring that face of yours'  He giggled.
You scoffed immediately and turned away. Despite his cringe, flirty first-impression, you could tell why he was one of the heartthrobs. Anyone who stared at his delicate face for too long would instantly get lost in it. You ignored his stares and smirks for the rest of the lesson and when it was over, you instantly ran to find Imogen.

'You will not believe what happened in my class..'  You muttered as Imogen put her books away in her locker.
'Not good?'  She sighed.
'I, I really don't know?'  You replied, staring at her.
You both progressed outside and sat on a bench, it was deserted so you began to open up freely about the Yoongi ordeal in class.
'And then he said "just admiring that face of yours", like what's that supposed to mean?'  You asked whilst laying down on the bench.
'Don't overthink it, girl, I know what they're like. But it's strange..'  Imogen replied.

'Strange how?'  You asked, shooting straight up.
'Well, Yoongi isn't the type of guy to actually fall for somebody, the others in the group sure do, but Yoongi? He just waits for the next girl in line to appeal to him, but none of them ever do.'  She explained whilst drawing in her notebook.
'Ah shoot, there they are now'  You groaned as you watched the group of heartthrobs approach you and Imogen.
