31 - heartbreak

About a week passed by and you had entered the next month, July, and nothing had really happened. Luna and Clara hadn't attempted anything drastic, so you all eventually forgot about it and got on with your daily lives. It was the last week of school until summer break and you all were so excited about spending it together. Days at the beach, cycling on cool summer evenings, going out partying, it was all you could look forward too.

Yoongi too, you could just imagine being with him the whole summer, maybe even going away on holiday to a cute beachside cabin or cosy treehouse, it bothered you daily. Anyways, it was a Tuesday morning and you quickly left the house, walking to school to meet the others. As usual, they were waiting at the doors and you couldn't help but cringe as you saw girls flirting and winking with the boys like they did everyday. You went up to them all and Yoongi gave you a usual kiss and hug. You sat down with Imogen as she doodled in her book, chatting away about random things.

'Yoongi! When are you gonna give us more of that weird energy booster shit?' Imogen asked.
'You aren't hooked, are you?' Jungkook laughed.
'Don't act so concerned Jungkook, we all are!' Hoseok said.
After the craze of you and Imogen being practically hyper all day last week, everyone tried some and it had the same affect on them and it was the current craze of your friendgroup.

'I gotta get some more, I promise though I will give you some all though' Yoongi chuckled.
'YESS' Jimin shouted.
'God, you all seem to love it, it was only meant to be a harmless prank!' Yoongi added.
'Well we are addicted now soo!' Namjoon said.
Suddenly, the bell rang, signalling first period. It was science so you and Hoseok waved bye to the others and started walking to your lesson together.

'Find it strange how Luna and Clara still haven't struck?' You laughed, nudging him.
'I know right! It's insane really, they're just so WEIRD!' Hoseok replied.
You entered the class and everyone made way for you two as you sat down in your seats. The teacher came in and began teaching. Everything was so dull as usual, but you suddenly sensed something. It was uncomfortable, as if someone was putting a curse on you or something. You turned around and saw Clara, staring intensely at you. Her eyes were wide and she had a creepy smile on her face, as if she was plotting something. You gave her a dirty look and just turned around again, scribbling notes into your textbook. When the bell rang, you got your stuff and grabbed Hoseok and pulled him out the room.

'In that lesson, Clara was looking at me weirdly..' You said quietly.
'Weirdly how?' He asked.
'I don't know, her eyes were so wide and like she had this weird creepy smile' You said, trying to shake the image out of your head.
'Like Momo?' Hoseok said, concerned.
'EXACTLY!' You laughed.

After that, you made your way up to the library and joined Imogen for study period. You told her all about Clara and she agreed something weird was going on. As the lesson progressed, you suddenly needed the toilet so you got out of your seat and ran to the bathroom. In the bathroom as you sat in the cubicle, you could hear giggling and footsteps outside. Sceptical, you finished and got washed up before cautiously opening the bathroom door.

Outside, you saw two people down the corridor, one pressed up against the wall by the other. The lights were off so you couldn't see their faces, but one looked like a boy and the other a girl. Slowly, you stepped towards them, but not too close. Curious, you turned the light on and what you saw made you scream instantly.

Yoongi and Clara kissing. Your stomach dropped and you felt hot. Your heart was in your throat and it felt like everything was spinning. Words weren't coming out your mouth no matter how hard you tried, it was all just a blur. You stepped back as they both noticed you, stumbling each step, struggling to comprehend what was going on. Tears stung your eyes and before Yoongi could say anything, you ran away back to the library. Upon seeing your state, Imogen ran up to you and hugged you, before stepping outside with you.

'Y/N? It's okay, please tell me what's wrong..' She said softly, moving your hair out your face. 'You can talk to me, babe'.
After wiping your tears and clearing your throat, you told her.
'Yoongi and Clara?! It can't be, oh I'm so sorry honey' She sighed, hugging you. 'Lets get you home, you shouldn't be here right now'

You stepped outside into the humid summer air, breathing in deeply. You couldn't believe it, you still felt numb and fuzzy. Each step you took, you felt as if you were going to sink into the ground. You felt shaky and your vision was blurry from tears. The love of your life was just kissing one of your biggest enemies, it was too much to take in.

When you got home, you went into your bedroom and slammed the door shut. Still no sign of your mother.
Probably drinking at the pub again, why is she suddenly like this? You thought.

Everything felt unreal, it seemed the only person you could rely on was Imogen. You had no idea if the boys knew about him cheating, maybe this has been going on for ages and you just had no idea? You slumped down onto your bed and cried into your pillow, it was as if nobody was on your side. The day soon turned into night and you felt so sick you couldn't sleep or eat at all. One thing for sure was you weren't going to school tomorrow, you couldn't even think about Yoongi without feeling hurt, anger, confusion or disgust. It was confusing and all you wanted was to dig a hole in the ground and lay in it forever.

After a hard night, you eventually got to sleep and in the morning your alarm went off. Angrily, you grabbed the alarm clock and threw it onto the floor.
'Hey! Keep it down would you, I got a headache..' Your mother slurred from her bedroom, you were right.

You grabbed your phone, drained, and went onto your messages. Imogen was messaging you saying she knew you weren't coming in and how she hopes your alright, stuff like that. Yoongi had messaged you too, but you were ignoring him. You had no time for his sob story after he broke your heart, you didn't want to hear it.
