~Seitarou~
I stared blankly at the coffee pooling into the mug. What good of a prison guard was I if I couldn't keep the prisoners in check. I let out a dragging sigh and further leaned on my elbows. I guess I better go tell Hajime. The least I can do is bring him some coffee. Maybe that will put him in better spirits.
I gently knocked on the door with two mugs in hand. "Sir, may I come in?" The rhythmic tacking of Hajime's computer stopped briefly.
"Yeah." He responded muffled from behind the door.
"Good morning Sir! Oh- it's very dark in here." I set the two mugs down. "You haven't even opened the blinds." Hajime shifted on his elbows and responded with a hum. Is he busy or something? I opened the blinds and walked over to his desk. "I brought you coffee Sir." I caught another hum in response. He picked up the mug and began to take a sip. "Oh- be careful Sir, it's hot-" And before I knew it there was a dropped coffee mug and Hajime had burned himself. He pushed the chair out and stood in frustration.
"It's these prisoners!! I can tell what they're plotting!" He paced over to the napkins.
"Oh I'll get the mess Sir-"
"They've had this look in their eye all morning like they wanna do something-" Hajime's fist decided to take out their anger on a handful of napkins. "-but I can figure out what!" He attacked the wet spot on his desk, grimacing when the still hot coffee burned his fingers and continued grumbling. I cleared my throat.
"Well Sir, I could always go check on the prisoners." He stopped and looked over at me out of the corner of his eye.
"Oh please, Seitarou we all know you can't deal with those prisoners." I tense and frantically waved my hands.
"It's not that I can't deal with them, it's just that they have their own... unique ways of com-muni-cat-ing?" I pressed my fingers together. No way he bought that.
"No way I'll buy that."
"I didn't think so, Sir." He slammed his hands down on the desk.
"WHAT!!" My coffee mug spilled. "How Did They Get Out!!!" I rushed over to Hajime's screen and sure enough inmates 11, 25, 69, and 15 were gone.
