"So I've got the power to use the wind dragon, water dragon and?" Tobi wondered out loud "The lightning dragon." Loong added with a smug smirk. "You should get the hang of this by now. It's been well over 2 months. You should be used to your powers already. You know, I am the kwami of perfection, and you're not really living up to the expectations." He added.
"I know, I know. It's just tough. I've got school, I live in a dorm, I've got a job *and* a secret identity?" He sighed loudly. "Exactly!" His kwami sincirely smiled. "You know what? Loong, I renounce you." He exclaimed, Loong returned to his miraculous within a second. "Finally. Peace." He smiled and glanced at his phone. "Jesus, I'm gonna be late!" He quickly grabbed both of his phones and his Miraculous, tied his hair into a messy bun and ran out the door.
Soon enough, he arrived at his place of work. A pub in a village, where everyone knows each other. Including Tobi. He set up a VPN to Paris, France on his other phone and went to pour the first few beers for his usual customers. Time went slow, up until the afternoon. Many people came into the pub with their families. Rush hours came. Tobi was pouring a fifth beer in a row, when his phone buzzed. He quickly excused himself to the bathroom, his coworkers were very annoyed. He unlocked the phone and there it was "Akuma Alert!". "Fuck." He whispered under his breath. He ran out of the pub, still during rush hours. "Hey! Where do you think you're going?! Can't you see we're nearly bursting with people?" Theresa yelled. "I'm so so sorry, but this is an emergency. Call Thomas, he should be free. I really can't stay!" He replied as he ran out of the pub "Wait! He's on... Vacation... Jesus Christ." Theresa muffled insults as she began handing out beers as fast as she could. Tobi sprinted home, ran past his mom, who was surprised to see her son home so early. Tobi said he only forgot his cigarettes, which he did, so it was only a half lie. He rummaged in his room, grabbed all of the Miraculous he had hidden around his room and barged out. He hastily put on his Miraculous after he made sure there was nobody around. "Loong, bring the storm!" and right after, he exclaimed "Wind dragon!" As his body turned into air, he very hastily aimed for his friend's house. He landed, barged in, unannounced and went straight to her room. She was calmly writing in her diary. "TOBI! Can't you knock? Or text? Or anything??" Tobi just threw her Miraculous on her "Ask later, I need Maya. Now." She didn't say another word. Just "Pollen, Buzz on." As she transformed and they both ran out of her house, Tobi continued:"Okay Judith. Take me to Claire's house, then Lilly and Phillip's, then finally Christine and Dan's." "Noted." She smiled and flew. Her bee wings buzzing in the wind. One by one, the miraculous were handed out. One by one, everyone transformed. "Mullo, get squeaky!", "Plagg, claws out!", "Ziggy, bleat it!", "Trixx, let's pounce!", "Wayzz, shell on!".
With the team all together and in a safe place, Tobi whispered "Open sky..." And hid to re-transform. "Okay. Very quickly, there's been an Akuma Alert. Me and Maya can carry you guys to Paris. Understood?" "What about Peter?" HemiMouse - Claire asked. "He's overseas. There's no reaching him in time. Let's go. Wind dragon!" He transformed and took as many people as he could. The rest were carried by Maya.
They all made it safely to the Eiffel tower. "What's the plan, Wyvern?" Nightshade asked "First, scout. Maya, fly over the city, HemiMouse, split and check whereever you can. Let us know when you find something." He finished and everyone put in their earbuds. "Multitude!" She exclaimed and went on the search. Same with Maya. "So... who are we dealing with?" Phillip asked Wyvern. "Literally no clue, Rammin' boy. We just wait here and hope for the best." Just as he finished, he saw a distressed woman running towards them. Nightshade came forth, calming her down. "Hey, are you okay? You really shouldn't be out here, it's not safe." "Oh, thank goodness you're here. The villian. They're... They're so... cunning. Their name is Empath. They can connect to you in ways I never thought were possible. Can you get me home, please?" Nightshade smiled and told the others she would take the woman home, then return right away. She carried her in her arms as she jumped from building to building, getting directions along the way. The woman kept thanking Nightshade. "You're too good for the team anyway. You were my favourite from the very beginning." She sincirely smiled. "Well thank you, but it wouldn't be the same without everyone." The woman's eyes suddenly flashed with light "Wouldn't it be better?" Nightshade stopped. Put the woman down, gave her a cunning smile and proclaimed "You're right, Empath. I am too good for all of them. They can't even begin to appreciate all the things I do for them." "Good. Bring them all to me." She ordered as Nightshade jumped all the way back to the tower. By that time, Maya and HemiMouse already returned. HemiMouse even managed to retransform to gain her power back. Nighshade calmly landed and said "So, did you find anything?" unfortunately, there was no trace of Empath anywhere.
