Shu Kurenai x Lui's Sister! Reader [Taking Flight]

"Y/N! Wake up!"

"No! Five more minutes!" 

Y/N felt a cold splash and realized that somebody had dumped icy cold water all over her. Blinking her eyes open, Y/N looked around, panicked. 

"Lui, what the hell?" she exclaimed, scowling up at her brother. "Why'd you do that!" 

After Y/N had stood up off her bed, Lui handed her a ticket and revealed a matching one in his hand. Looking down, Y/N realized that it was for an airplane. She sighed.

"Do I have to go?"

Lui nodded. "Yeah, don't you remember? We're heading back to Japan, the supreme four are flying in from all around the world to meet up again."

Y/N grabbed the suitcase at the base of her bed that she had packed the night before. She knew Lui didn't want to go, but did he have to drag her along with him? 

Lui smirked, and Y/N turned around, grumbling. Lui suddenly grabbed her arm.

"Sis, aren't you forgetting something?"

She tilted her head, and Lui grabbed Y/N's phone off of her nightstand. 

The moment that Y/N was out of Lui's eyesight, she growled angrily and stormed outside, where Lui's car was waiting. She grabbed her suitcase and hoisted it into the trunk of her brother's car roughly.

"Y/N!" Lui called, stepping outside behind his sister. "Get in!"

She nodded and sat down in the front seat, with Lui sitting in front of the wheel.

She turned up the car's radio as they drove. After a moment, Lui changed the song that was playing.

Y/N silently grumbled. The song that Lui had chosen, (least favorite song), was, in her opinion, terrible. Y/N put in her earbuds.

They finally arrived at the airport. Looking at the clock, it was only 2:00 AM.

"Why did you book such an early flight?" Y/N asked. Lui shrugged.

"This was the only flight left with two seats. Apparently, everybody's gonna be there for the supreme four reunion. Besides..."

Y/N noticed her brother's voice trailing off and looked at the direction he had turned to. Where he was looking, there was a boy with white hair and red eyes. He noticed Lui and started to walk in their direction, bumping into Y/N. She rubbed her shoulder where he had hit her.

Y/N scowled. "What was that for?"

The boy glanced back. "Oh, I'm sorry."

"Shu!" Lui exclaimed. "Apologize to my sister, now!"

Shu sweatdropped. "But I just did?" 

"Shu? As in Shu Kurenai?" Y/N asked, alarmed. She had heard tales from her brother about him. 

"Now calling all passengers to board flight 205. I repeat, 205 is now boarding."

Shu walked off to a nearby plane that was loading passengers. After about a minute and a half of glaring at his old rival, Lui realized something.

"Wait, 205 is our flight! Hurry Y/N, they're about to take off!"

He raced up to the plane, Y/N following behind.

When they got onto the plane, Lui looked around for two seats that were next to each other. Not seeing any, he glanced at Y/N.

"Are you gonna be alright by yourself?"

She nodded as Lui sat down in a random seat beside a young couple. The woman was holding a baby, and Y/N silently hoped it wouldn't be crying the entire flight.

Y/N went further back into the plane, trying to find herself a seat as well. She finally found one and sat down without looking at who was in the other two seats.

She plugged in her earbuds again and started jamming out to her music. After about an hour of being up in the air, she felt herself growing sleepy. She knew it was because she had agreed to take a 2:00 AM flight.

She slowly drifted off, and her head drooped onto the person's shoulder beside her. As she was tired, Y/N just assumed it was Lui and closed her eyes. She didn't notice the person tensing up.

"Y/N! What the fuck?" somebody screamed at her a few hours later. Y/N recognized it as the voice of Lui and, with her eyes still closed, mumbled, "Language, Lui."

"Y/N, what are you doing?"

Y/N blinked open her eyes. Lui was standing in the aisle next to her seat, and most of the plane had cleared out at this point. Y/N wondered what on earth could be wrong.

Y/N stood up and glanced at the person she had accidentally laid on, wanting to apologize, but jumped back when she realized who it was.

"S-Shu! I-I'm so sorry! It was so late, and I thought you were Lui, and..."

Shu scowled, standing up as well and smiling. "Don't worry about it."

He stormed off, leaving Y/N completely flustered. Lui gave her a hard whack on the back.

"Ouch!" she yelped, turning around. Lui huffed. "Look, I'm sorry! I didn't realize that it was him I was laying on! I thought that it was you!"

Lui shook his head. "Whatever, let's just head to the hotel." 

As they were driving to the hotel using a rented car, Y/N heard Lui mumbling, "Why does Kurenai always get the girls?" 

Lui seemed to think that Y/N had a crush on Shu, and Y/N smirked. Maybe she could tease her brother a little bit. 

"Oh, wow, Shu's so handsome and hot! Man, I wish I were his girlfriend!" Y/N exclaimed in a dramatic fangirl voice. 

Y/N could've sworn she saw Lui's hand on the steering wheel clench. She just chuckled, but after a moment, Lui turned his head towards Y/N. "What. Did. You. Say?" 

It was in this moment that Y/N realized, she fucked up.
