Depressed! Shu x Valt [Don't You Worry]

A/N - This was requested by Aiger7. I'm sorry if it's bad, I don't know much about depression. Anyways, enjoy. 

Shu sat with the rest of his friends, the Bey Club, on the roof of Beygoma Academy. 

"Hey, Shu! Guess what!" Valt exclaimed. "I'm gonna go to Spain and join BC Sol! I'll miss all of you guys!" Valt exclaimed. For some reason, Rantaro had a smug look on his face, as if he wouldn't have to miss Valt. 

Shu didn't seem to notice what Valt had said and continued to stare at the floor of the roof. After a few moments of silence, Wakiya approached him. 

"Hey, Shu, what's got you so down in the dumps?" 

Shu looked up at Wakiya, forcing a smile. 

"What do you mean? I'm perfectly alright?" 

Wakiya raised an eyebrow, but left the rooftop. Soon, the rest of the club left the rooftop, leaving just Valt and Shu. 

Valt was bouncing around with excitement while Shu watched. 

After a moment, when Valt didn't get any response from Shu, he glanced down at his friend. 

"Hey, Shu, what's wrong? For real dude, you look super bummed out!" 

Shu glanced up again. "Nothing's wrong, Valt." 

Valt didn't look convinced. "Mhm..." 

With that, Valt grabbed Shu's hand. "Alright, we're gonna get some beybread! You need to tell me what's up!" 

Shu rolled his eyes as Valt dragged him along. 

When they arrived at the Aoi bakery... 

Valt ran up to his mother. 

"Hey, mom, me and Shu are home! Can you make us some beybread?" 

Valt's mother nodded, smiling, before entering the kitchen. Shu quickly stood up. "I'll help yo-" 

Valt glared at Shu. "No you won't. Sit down, now!" 

Shu sat down across from Valt, surprised at this new behavior of his. Valt had never been so... demanding before. 

"Valt, I'm serious, nothing is wrong." 

The bluenette huffed. "Really? Well guess what I saw when you were practicing with Spryzen earlier? Your sleeve rolled up." 

Shu raised his eyebrow as Valt stood up, went over to where Shu was, and rolled up his sleeve, revealing cuts. 

Valt growled. "Why on earth would you do this?" 

Shu started to tear up. "I'm- I'm sorry, Valt. I just... I feel so bad for all that I put you through as Red Eye... And I... I'm so sorry..." 

Shu's voice cracked as he broke down in tears. Valt sighed, embracing Shu into a hug. "It's alright, it's not your fault. Don't worry Shu." 

Shu sniffled. "But it is my fault. I put you guys through so much, and hurt you so badly, and I-" 

Valt shut him up by placing a quick kiss on Shu's lips, shocking Shu. 

"Wh- what was that for?" Shu asked, blinking in shock and pulling away from the hug. Valt's face turned red. 

"Well, uh, it just seemed like the right thing to do, and- uh- I'm sorry..." 

Shu chuckled softly. "It's okay Valt." 

With that, Shu pulled Valt in for another kiss. After they separated, Valt smiled softly. 

"I love you, Shu." 

"I love you too Valt." 

Bonus 

Toko and Nika ran into the kitchen. 

"Mom! Shu and Valt are kissing!" 

Mrs. Aoi's face brightened up. "Aw, I knew it would happen eventually!" 

Toko and Nika were confused. "You mean you're not mad at Valt?" 

She shook her head, chuckling. "Nope. I've shipped those two from the start." 

Toko sweatdropped. "Of course you did."
