"Moore Towing Company" I answered the phone tapping my pen to yet another customer dealing with Houston flooding during a rainy day, my business brought in six figures a year between flooding and constant car accidents.
"Aye boss, we got a two vehicle accident on Katy Freeway one of them hauling a horse trailer, we need the big boy to tow it to the owner's home"
"Troy, tell them hold on and I'm on my way now"
What made my towing business different from the others was that I had trucks that could tow 18 wheelers and larger vehicles which I found had the highest rate of mechanical issues and accidents along the highways in Houston and surrounding cities.
Morgan: You still okay for tonight?
The sleepover was for tonight and all I could think about was seeing Adoure for the first time in years tomorrow morning.

Nervousness and guilt had been killing me since I found out I would get the opportunity to be face to face with the woman I hurt.
The rain fell heavily and the lightning show was a sight to see while I drove out to the accident, I honked at my employees out helping with towing damaged cars along with the highway.
"Are ya'll fucking serious?!" I shouted watching a car cut off another causing them to hydroplane and crash into the median., I snatched the two way radio off the dash.
"Crash on I-10 Memorial City, be advised car is at median and there is no shoulder, whoever takes it make sure there is aide from police and fire to direct traffic"
I knew that I was nearing the scene of the accident by the way traffic creeped and crawled, putting on my hazards I merged onto the shoulder lane riding past the many frustrated drivers sitting in traffic.
"Damn not the F-150!" I approached the two vehicle accident seeing the truck hauling the horses took the blunt of the hit the way the front half was smashed into median, a woman with a hoodie on sat on the median bloodied pants and head down.
"She aight?"
I hopped down to get my truck set up once police and fire arrived to direct traffic to assure our safety while towing the vehicles.
" She gotta mean ass bloody nose and cut on her forehead, I offered to call an ambulance she refused because she doesn't want to leave her horses"
I walked up to the horse trailer peaking inside to see two beautiful white horses, I clicked my tongue to gain the mother's attention she bowed her head allowing me to rub her.
"Hey girl, we gonna get you home" I loved animals something Adoure and I shared, we always planned on living on a farm with our animals and kids until I ruined that.
