"So your solution to accidentally killing me is to make me work?" You ask getting more and more annoyed by the second.

"I'm so glad you understand," They say with the happy-go-lucky expression that seems to be imprinted on their face, "It'll be like one of those fanfictions you read when you were alive"

They start to walk away seemingly ushering me to follow them yet I stand with my arms crossed causing them to stop and look back at me.

"What even is this job you want to give me?" I ask with a now questioning expression

"OOOh!" they say happily " You will work as an exorcist!! your job will be to help spirits cross over to the other side!!!"

They seem to have to use exaggerated hand motions every time they talk. Maybe to make me excited but It's not quite working, I mean I was just enjoying my day then BANG dead. The next thing I know I'm being told to get a job and just forget about the life I had. And I wasn't even able to eat yet... The nerve.

"What makes you think I'm gonna go with you?? I mean why would I even want this job??? And-"
