Friday.

The last day of the week. Sunoo got up and got dressed doing his normal skin care and morning routine. Down to the first floor, his mother had breakfast ready; while he ate he noticed that his mother's eyes were swollen

"Everything alright?" He asked his mother.
"Shut up and eat." Ordered his father with an annoyed voice, Sunoo decided not to say anything else, he ate everything in a hurry and left his house with his sister

walking towards the high school

"Wear glasses if you're going out." Sunoo's father said before also leaving, Sunoo's mom  burst into tears once again.

"Don't forget you have to go straight to church."

Sunoo sighed already tired, all week his mother and Winter had been reminding him, how could he forget? Still I nod

"Did you bring your Bible?"
"Yes."
"Okay, see you later." Winter said goodbye, meeting her friends, by her side Sunoo approached Niki, his best friend.

Niki came from Japan, his parents moved to that town to take care of niki's grandmother. Niki, coming from another place, had a more open mind, so he never hid his sexual preferences, in fact he had a long-distance relationship with Sunghoon , his boyfriend. He used to visit him in town once every two weeks. Even when they received bad faces and insults from people, they never paid attention, Niki's parents always let them know that they're relationship was not messed up, but the people where

Obviously Sunoo was forbidden to get close to Niki, but he never cared, they had become very good friends. People even thought that Sunoo was sent by God to redirect Niki's path.

"Hi Sun!"

The Japanese boy happily greeted, Niki was a very warm person, he always had a smile on his face

"Hi Riki!!"
"Are you ready to give your course?"

"Nooo, but while I read the bible I imagine that I am at a party drinking and taking drugs.
"I promise I'll take you to a party when we get into college."

Sunoo smiled, he was desperate to be able to graduate to go away to university, where he would finally live his life

"You know I'm not religious, but I'm still going to keep you company."
"Please go, so I'll finish convincing my mother that I'm "changing your life" leaving aside your gay thoughts" Sunoo said laughing
"If only she knew that her beloved child is the one who has gay thoughts with a certain "person" she would have already sent you to a exorcist Niki mocked
"Shut up, that's not true," he complained, Niki started laughing and Sunoo blushed.

It turns out that Jaeyun was in the same class as Niki and Sunoo, making it inevitable for the minor to spy on him almost daily, Niki made fun of him, he knew that his friend was beginning to like that puppy looking boy.
The school day ended, Niki went to his house to change and go to church to accompany Sunoo as he promised.

For his part, Sunoo went straight to the church, when he arrived he realized that no one was there and surely no one would go either, but even so, he set out to fix the place where he would give the course. Father Agustín had given him the key to a room in the back of the church, it was a room where the children took their Dominican classes.

Without further ado, he began to arrange the chairs in a circle, he put only seven, then he sat down to wait. Five minutes later someone walked in, Sunoo almost felt faint when he saw Jaeyun walk through the door and walk towards him.

"Is this the course?"
He asks seriously
"Ah...yes-yes, it's here, please sit down," I invite, pointing to a chair in front of him, but Jaeyun just  sits on the chair next to him.

"Why hasn't anyone come?"
"I don't know, I guess it won't take long."

They were both silent for almost half an hour, Sunoo was completely nervous and uncomfortable in the silence, he almost always knew how to start a conversation but for some strange reason Jaeyun intimidated him, even more so having him next to himself.

At this moment he hated Niki, he had not arrived as he promised and now he found himself in that situation
"Will you keep waiting?" Jaeyun broke the silence
"Yes, I guess, even if no one comes, it's better to stay here."
"Don't you want to come home?"

Sunoo denied, Jaeyun started looking at him, a smile settled on his face
"I'll stay with you then" Sunoo turned to see him, his nervousness increased, but he decided better to start a pleasant chat before returning to settle in that silence that was killing Sunoo

"Okay, can I ask why you came?" It's clear that you don't... that you don't like these places." I ask nervously.

"The truth is that my mother practically forced me to come, we both used  to go to the church where we used to live but she has nothing to do with this" he answered ironically

"Why? "That sparked Sunoo's curiosity.

"The town is too close and small, do you think I didn't realize what the ladies say about me and my mother? Everyone accuses her of living alone, assuring that she is a "leftover" when they know nothing." He counted letting out a snort
Sunoo wanted to ask the reason why they moved but he preferred not to pry
"I thought the whole place was too hypocritical." He Continued, "Until you."
Sunoo widened his gaze, Jaeyun started biting his lip looking him up and down.
