Starscream and Amal landed back in front of the young girls shared home, seeing the seekers kits waiting tiredly for him.
"You know Megatronus is just worried about you." Starscream said to Amal as he gathered his children. Amal snorted, shaking her helm in annoyance.
"He's blowing this out of proportion."
"You can't be mad at him for caring."
"But i can be for him trying to keep me from my duties." Amal picked up one of the kits gently in her jaw and placed it on the back of Starscream, watching as it sleepily opened its optics and purred at the Prime.
"Cybertron and Earth are saved and protected now because of you. It is not selfish to take a step back from your duties, Amal." Starscream said and Amal snorted again, turning to walking toward her home.
"Goodnight Starscream."
The seeker huffed, clearly disappointed his words fell on deaf ears.
"Goodnight Amal."
Instead of going inside, Amal rounded toward the back of the house where the cliff was, finding a nice spot at the edge to transform into her predacon mode and lay with her front paws dangling off the edge and her head rest in her legs.
The young girl watched the city below her, more full of light than it had been months ago and her spark swelled a bit with happiness to see the city so busy.
The sound of a door opening and closing behind her made Amal snap out of her thoughts and listen to pedsteps approach next to her.
"I brought you energon."
Amal didn't say anything as she glanced over when Megatronus set down some shards next to her.
"i know you haven't eaten today."
Amal didn't say anything, but Megatronus knew she wouldn't. He knew she wasn't going to talk anytime she was relaxing in a beast mode.
"This is why i worry, Amal. You're wanting to handle the problems of Cybertron when you're not even taking care of yourself. I just want to not worry about your well being before you start trying to worry for others well beings." Megatronus explained, bringing up his knees to his chestplate and resting his servos on them. Amal snorted, turning her head away from him and the shards of energon laying next to her.
Megatronus vented out and stood up, rubbing her helm lovingly before he went inside to rest for the night, leaving the cyber organic to rest at the edge of the cliff for the evening.

"Amalgamous."
The young Prime opened her optics and yawned, her legs stretching out in front of her. "You really should not sleep in front of the cliff you almost fell off of."
Amal snorted, standing up and transforming back to a human to stretch some more. "Sounds like solid advice. Too bad I never listen." Optimus rolled his optics as Amal began walking toward their shared home, the long time Prime following after a second of watching the young girl.
"Amal."
The human girl sighed, continuing her walk into their home. "I'm not in the mood to argue about this right now, Optimus."
"I was going to ask if you'd accompany me on a drive. I have to go retrieve all of our reports from the last Deca-cycle on Earth from Jazz." Optimus said and the young Prime in front of him stopped, thinking hard.
"This isn't some attempt to interrogate me?"
"I give you my word, Amal. I had just received the transmission that Jazz had them all, which is why I had woken up. I just happened to notice you were nowhere in our home."
