Hyunjin, 7pm
Work was soon over, and most of her co-workers have already left, leaving Hyunjin, the creative director, a few workers, the executive assistant and the ceo.
"Hey, Kim Hyunjin! What are you still doing here?" A voice spoke, echoing the empty room the girl was in.
"I'm doing a few re-touches for our card's design." Hyunjin politely replied,
"Come onnnn, just continue it tomorrow! Let's go drink." The other said, wrapping an arm around Hyunjin's shoulder.
"Jinsoul...do you remember what happened the last time we drank? I had to take care of you." Hyunjin sighed out as she got off the girl's arm.
"We won't drink as much, alright? Just one bottle or two and that's it." Jinsoul said, trying her best to convince the girl.
Hyunjin dropped her shoulders and let out a sigh, defeated by her ceo's puppy eyes,
"Fine." She muttered out as she turned off her computer. Jinsoul cheered, fist bumping the air, feeling proud for convincing Hyunjin.
"Oh yeah, by the way, Chaewon, Chaeryeong and Lia will be there. Maybe Sooyoung too if she isn't busy hooking up with her girlfriend." Jinsoul said, waving at her secretary whom was walking towards them, Chaewon.
"I heard my name from a distance, were you two talking about me?" Chaewon said, arching a brow at the two in the elevator.
"Just Jinsoul, I'm not too interested in you." Hyunjin said with a playful smile, making Chaewon perk both her brows up by the answer.
"Good things, I hope." The blonde haired girl said, shooting her eyes onto the ceo whom was looking at the ground, embarrassed.
...
The three shortly arrived at the pub they usually go after work, their ceo waving frantically at the other two who were already drinking and eating.
Hyunjin gulped down a huge lump of air, her knees wobbling at the breathtaking sight of her long-time crush, Chaeryeong.
Chaeryeong worked in the same company as her as a receptionist. But the first time she had seen her though, was actually in high school. Chaeryeong wasn't some popular girl of some sort, but she was known around the school for being the kindest and the most precious girl in the world. While Hyunjin? Hyunjin was just some basketball player whom attracted many people with her brains and beauty. But even so, that one particular girl didn't seem to find any interest in her. Nor did they speak a word to each other. It was just Hyunjin admiring her from a far, falling harder each day. And to finally meet the girl she was head over heels after years, in the same company as her...Hyunjin felt crazy.
Both Chaewon and Jinsoul sat next to each other, leaving the seat next to Chaeryeong vacant - which Hyunjin hesitated to sit on. How was she supposed to act normally around her after that message she sent?
Hyunjin let out a sigh and sat down leaving her with no other choice.
...
Thankfully, the night went on normally with no awkwardness around the girls. Though one thing's for sure, both Jinsoul and Lia were drunk.
"Not again.." Hyunjin muttered out as she massaged her forehead, stressed upon seeing Jinsoul, their ceo, their boss, singing her heart out to her secretary who was awkwardly laughing, with Lia joining in the singing, adding ad-libs and so on.
"Maybe we should bring them back home. Don't you think, Kim Hyunjin?" The black haired girl next to her said, her hand on Hyunjin's hand.
Hyunjin's heart began to pound as her whole face began to feel warm. She couldn't think straight at the moment as her mind went blank in seconds. Then a touch woke her back to her senses, just one single touch brought her back to reality. This was real, this is happening now.
