They are ahead of me and come at a stop. "You first" they say. I sigh in disbelief and I wave my arms in front of them. "Yeah, sure this way Prince" I show them the stables.
I walk up to the front gate, on the left side. "Felicity, you look as radiant as ever". I say to my ginger white horse. There's no way I'm gonna let them ride my one of a kind steed. I look over at the other gate.

"Belleanne, how are you girl?" I pet her beautiful black mane. I smile but it soon fades as I turn to see Boo look startled. I was gonna say something sarcastic but my mom turns to look at me, as she followed us out here.

"What's wrong prince?" I say monotonically. "I am quite horrendous when it comes to riding a horse it's um, difficult for me to keep steady". They respond. Goodness gracious this is not what I had in mind for today's plans. I pace before I say "I'll help you". I regret that.

I open the gate to felicity's stable. I get on the horse's back. "Get on with me" I rush. They climb on and say "you could have helped me you know?'
"Yeah I know but it's much more fun seeing you struggle" I laugh off.

"Run, Felicity! Okay, prince Boo hold onto me" I hate the way they are close to me it makes me cringe that someone I dislike so much is this close. I show them around the castle grounds. "Show me your favorite spot on the grounds" they say as we reapproach the stables. I nod, confused because this was an interesting request.

I lead them to my private library, my favorite place. "Question, prince. You are here because my kingdom needs your kingdoms assistance, so why do you ask to see my favorite place? Oh. You need to know my weakness. I should have seen it. Fool me once." I mutter to them.
"That's ridiculous. Once again you've made ridiculous assumptions about me " they reply. They look around, snooping through the library. They see a stack of papers and ink smudges on my Maplewood desk.

"Don't go through those." I demand. I rush over clamming the papers together pushing them to my chest. They look puzzled. "What are you hiding?" I take a step back.

They come up and grab the papers. They are scanning through the letters. They look distressed. "I hate you..dear prince...war". I take a step back again and then planting my face in my hands.
I take a deep breathe lifting my face up from my hands. "It's not what it seems" I say.

"Well it looks like you hate me. Like you were gonna tell me how much you are disgusted my me so many times but couldn't find the right way to address it". They say angrily.

I sigh. "Yeah, actually that covers it" I responded. "You are so weak. No wonder your mother needs help".

Im. Sorry. What?.

That's when everything goes black.
When I wake up I open my eyes to them looking down at me. I feel my surroundings. They look at me with a look that's different than what I've ever seen.
"What happened?" I ask. They say "you fell after you used your force and pushed me against a bookcase. I get up and brush myself off.
"My sincerest apologies, but you really shouldn't speak Ill of my mother." They laugh. "it's all jokes, get over it mate".

They look at me "About the hate thing..You know I hate you too. Your life, your attitude and your weakness." They imply as they step closer to me, I think if they breathed too hard I would be able to feel it. "Prince." I say nervously. They lean in until their lips are right on mine. They step away.
I am wordless. Thoughtless. They think they could be that close and get away with it? How dare they step foot in my library and do this? I hate them. Never again.

I refuse.
