As Kora set foot on Japanese ground, she heaved a sigh of relieve. She had nothing against traveling per se, but loathed long journeys.
Something that never failed to let her brother smile in amusement.

She glowered at him and briskly turned towards the buzzing city.
They both new their way around so she deemed it unnecessary to wait for her twin and marched off. They could meet up at the guild later on.

"Wait a second!", she heard him call after her and reluctantly turned back just in time to catch a heavy pouch, preventing it to hit her right in the face.

"You forgot your money.", he grinned and redirected his attention back to the man in front of him.

Kora was sure that she had never seen him before, but Eren appeared to know him quite well. Maybe she had just forgotten him.
It wasn't impossible considering her general lack of interest in other people and the time that had passed since she had last been to Japan.

Still, it was a bit strange.
Had the circumstances been different she would have probably insisted on staying.

Lost in her thoughts, she completely forgot to throw her brother another death glare.

She looked back one last time and was just barely able to make out Erens smiling face on the other side of the crowd.

Now she definitely knew that something was wrong. He never smiled like that.

A group of men moved between her and her brother, obscuring her view of him and she continued her way towards the guild, leaving him and the harbour behind.

She knew that he would be alright.
There was no reason to delay her hunt for a proper bed any further.

She went off into the heart of the bustling city, Kora had always liked Tokyo, and soon found herself at the front desk of the guild house.
The entrance had been surprisingly full but the building itself seemed almost empty.

As Kora registered herself and her brother, she was informed that all rooms, except one, were already occupied.

She groaned, but accepted the key. They would have their own bathroom at least and even if the smell of the Kraken had dissipated for the most part, not that it had bothered her much in the first place, she longed for a nice long bath. It wasn't the first time she had to share a room with Eren either. It would save them a bit of money at least, not that they had to pay much anyway.

The sun was already setting when Eren finally appeared.
He didn't talk much, but exchange only a few words with her before happily disappearing into the bathroom. Despite his jolly facade it was obvious how exhausted he was.

When Kora returned from supper, Eren had declined her offer to wait or buy him something, she caught him restocking his supplies.
Now she knew why he seemed so exhausted and why he had let her leave first.

Demons originating from the western hemisphere seldomly made their appearance on this side of the planet. They greatly differed from more locale creatures like Yokai for example.
It wasn't uncommon to ask visitors/foreign members of the guild to handle such problems without going through the official channels. That way things stayed under raps.

Eren was always greatly strained after these proceedings.
There were also multiple other reasons of why he disliked taking care of demons of any kind, but Kora knew better than question him about it.

"So, what's the plan for tomorrow?", she asked instead.

Her twin looked up from his assortment of bags. He seemed to be a bit more distant than usual.
