Chapter 3: An Accident

*Main Street*

As we stop in front of the main street, we look around the place a bit. We got breakfast from the cafeteria, the food which I cook for us. I had a lovely talk with the chefs, they were fun to be with. We ate, then Crowley took Nat with him to babysit so I could clean the main street. So here we are looking at it. 'These are sure odd statues.' As I look at them holding some of the cleaning stuff.

 I have this uniform that was a bit big on me. 'At least it covers my chest..' Crowley gives it to me so I won't get my own clothes dirty. And that boys won't know I'm a female. 'Now that he said that it seems it's an all-boys school............eh...... I visited an all-school once as a fan of Lady May but they were 11 and I was 15. They were adorable with their smiles. It was nice. '

 "Wow, so this is Main Street, huh? This is incredible!" as Grim walked up "I didn't get to see it much yesterday. What's the deal with these seven statues? All their faces look pretty scary." I too look at their faces, but then I start swiping. Slowly students started to appear. "Like, this lady here looks like she's got some reeeal anger management issues." Grim still talking about the seven statues. Then I hear a step come from behind, "You don't know the Queen of Hearts?" a boy with a heart shape on top of his eye. 'He looked.............stupid, will, of course, we won't know about this woman. I mean look it's a monster and person who is from another world...' i just continue to clean, which Grim should do. "Queen of Hearts? Is she some kinda big deal?" Grim ask

Then red-hair explains about the Queen of Hearts, "She was a queen who lived in a mazelike garden of roses long, long ago. She was a strict woman who prized order above all. She wouldn't tolerate a rose being off-color, or her playing-card soldiers being out of step. She basically ruled over a kingdom of madness, but not one of her subjects dared to defy her. You wanna know why? Because the punishment for breaking a rule was immediate decapitation!" he said, Grim seemed to be a little bit scared, "Wah! That is seriously messed up!" 

"Pretty cool, right? I'm a big fan. I mean, who would bother to obey a queen that was kind all the time?" at this point I was listing as well, not because I wanted to, it just because they are a bit loud for me '... She sounds like one of my old managers who want to do things her way but 5 months into her management she got fired... a nice person to me but very obnoxious....'

"Yeah, true. A leader needs to be strong. But puttin' that aside... Who're you, now?" Grim asked the "boy wonder". "Name's Ace. I'm a first-year student here, as of... today! Pleased to meetcha!" he said 'Yep total bull shit..' I thought looking at him, 'This is so fake... I actress I know when someone is faking...' I did say anything I was just sweeping but did give him and stare. "I'm Grim! I'm a prodigy who plannin' to be, like, the greatest mage who ever lived." with a paw pointed at him, then to me.

"That there's my far less interesting hench-human." I give Grim a stare as well, for being called his "far less interesting hench-human." Ace is about to speak "Akiva"? Huh. The name's got an odd ring to it." he said 'Really my name is odd, say someone who a named after a playing card' then I looked at Ace, I have my mask on so at least he won't see my full face.

"So bold of you saying someone named is odd." Now I look at him more I was taller than him. So I was looking down on him. "So rude..." then I stare at him, "Sorry man, just a name that I do not very well know," he said in defense, "hm" I true away and continues what I was doing. "Anyways!" Grim said "So tell me, Ace. Is that lion with a scare in the eye a famous ruler too?" pointing at the lion statues.
