THUMP*
you feel your body hit the hard ground when you fell out of the portal.

from all the pain and stress on your body, you pass out. When you start to gain consciousness you feel a soft surface on your back.

With the gain of consciousness comes the leftover pain from the fall.
"Ughh" you groan touching your head

seems you are not alone when you start hearing footsteps coming closer to wherever you are. You force your eyes to open to see who is coming your way.

opening your eyes you lift your head with a little pain and rest your head on the wall behind the bed. You look around. The walls seem to be a bit old and warn down there a lot of beds in here might be in some sort of a rundown hospital.

you hear a cough come from the doorway bringing you back to the real world.
turning your head you see a tall guy maybe a young adult in a suit with a briefcase with small glasses resting on his nose.

you hear him again trying to get your attention.

"Hey, kid glad you woke up but uhh who are you and how and why did you come out of a portal from the sky". He says sounding concerned

"you look at him for a good second,
Before opening your mouth saying "look I don't know who you are so I'm not going to answer any personal questions until I get some answers of my own you snap back".

from the looks of it, he seems a little annoyed when he opens his mouth to say something he is yelling at the top of his lungs.

"I ASKED THE QUESTION FIRST IT'S NOT LIKE WE CAN TRUST YOU EITHER YOU FELL FROM THE FRICKING SKY. OUT OF SOMETHING THAT IS NOT EVEN POSSIBLE". He says

you mutter under your breath "yet" you say

"AND IF NOT FOR US YOU WOULD STILL BE ON THAT GROUND FOR SOMEBODY ELSE TO COME GET YOU AND RUN TESTS ON YOU OR SOMETHING". He says

"SO I WOULD CONSIDER YOU LUCKY KID". He says annoyed

"Really I'm that lucky I mean technically I got kidnapped while I was unconscious". You say with a sarcastic tone

"you didn't have to help me I'm sure that if somebody saw me they would think I'm dead". You say

"YEA THEN THEY WOULD USE YOUR BODY AS A TARGET OR AS BAIT FOR A HUNTER JOB". He says

"THEN YOU WOULD BE WISHING THAT A GROUP OF NICE PEOPLE CAME AND SAVED YOU HUH". He says

you roll your eyes "people are this barbaric in this timeline" you mutter.
crossing your arm you say "are you done with this tantrum or are you going to keep it up like a toddler at the store that didn't get the toy it wants" you give him a sarcastic smile with wide eyes.

That seemed to piss him off even more because now he's making more of a fuss that you don't care about.
you tone him out thinking about what timeline you traveled to you were in a hurry to get out of the previous area you were in. Getting  Chased by every monkey that you could think of big, small, medium orange, black and white.

you could add that to my list of new fears and let's not forget the time y/n you say in your head
that you almost got burned at the stake for using nen and time traveling not fun times.

but maybe this might be a better time I could get some help. That was the whole reason I started this job to time travel in the first place to help my timeline from the accident.

" LEORIO THAT'S ENOUGH," somebody says in a stern tone

Snapping out of my thoughts
you hear another voice making The man stop talking for a second before trying to complain about y/n with the other person before getting cut off again.

Huh, so his name is leorio. You think
I can't see this person yet but I thank them in my head for the blessing of silence but the bigger question is.

Ok so I'm not a writer and you could most likely tell but I just wanted to make a fanfic so I went to the this website called names of wheels and whatever I got I would make a book on even the trope but I was looking at the ages for the characters and when leorio was first on hxh he was 19 I never knew that and that. Was crazy for me
