I went home shortly after Harry got off stage. Everyone left us alone in his dressing room, and we just kissed, until I told him I should leave.

I didn't want Olivia to show up, I couldn't stand seeing her again. He agreed with me, wanting to get this whole conversation over with.

He promised to text me tonight, but my gut told me not to wait for that text.

My driver got to my house close to 1am and on my doorstep, was Ian. To his left, a bottle of tequila that was our favorite.

"Hey," I said as I walked up and stood in front of him.

"Hey. I brought a peace offering," he said, pointing to the bottle with his head.

"I could actually use a drink right now. Would you like to come in?"

"Lisa isn't going to chase me out."

"No," I watched as relief filled his face, "But Des might."

He laughed a bit, shrugging his shoulders. I took my keys out of my bag, walking past him to open the door. He got up, grabbed the bottle and followed me in the house. I placed my purse and keys on the hallway table taking off my shoes. Ian walked into the kitchen ahead of me, knowing where everything was.

I walked in and sat at the breakfast nook as he turned to me, "Are we sipping or shots?"

"Shots, why not."

We threw the shots back and he grabbed a stool so he was sitting in front of me. I couldn't help but laugh a little knowing he was sitting where Harry had eaten me out, but I shook the thought from my mind.

"So how have you been?"

He looked at me then down at his shot glass, "You know, miserable. But probably deserved."

I nodded and shrugged at him, "You know."

He let out a small chuckle, "Yeah imma need another shot."

I laughed as he offered me another one as well and I nodded.

We threw the shots back and I wiped my mouth.

"So why are you in need of drinks?" He raised an eyebrow at me, and I scrunch my nose, shaking my head.

He nodded knowing once I didn't want to talk about it, I wasn't going to.

"Wanna play war?" I smiled at him.

"Loser takes a shot?"

"Only if the winner takes half a shot?"

He pretended to think about it, "Mmm, alright sounds fair."

I hopped off the stool and walked over to the kitchen getting the cards from the drawer, then getting some bagged popcorn from the pantry.

I tossed the cards at him and he set up the game.

We played a good amount of games, we each had about six additional shots and though things felt fuzzy, I was having a great time.

"I really suck at this game." I laughed.

"I think we both do."

I bit my lip, and then my next words all came out like word vomit.

"You know Harry and I aren't dating right, I don't know what we are exactly. But what I do know is he might be a dad. His ex is claiming to be pregnant. Which is great for me, you know? I think I've just accepted that I'll be an old cat lady."

I laughed at first, but then the tears came, and before I knew it Ian was wrapping his arms around me.

"Don't say that Mer, you know it's not true. Someone like you, could never be alone forever."
