"Father would you listen to me for once" "No! You are my daughter and I choose who your marriage is to be arranged with". His voice was demanding and dominating, taking power over your soft and honey voice. "But Father I don't love him", Your voice was like a plea. The last bits of hope and warmth in you let themselves out through those words. Loving was not a crime, yet these people thought of it as inadmissible. You choose to believe in love, even when you knew they will thrash you away for so. You chose to swim against the flow of the river, even when you knew the consequences, but regardless of your nature, you stood powerless.

"There will no longer be a discussion on this, You will marry Mr Kang's son and that's it. As your father, I have the right to choose the groom for my daughter and I summon the power of your marriage on my rights as a father" A drop of tear trickled down your porcelain skin, reflecting the agony of loss and pain in your eyes. There was so much to you that the world failed to see. All they cared and starved was for your indubitable beauty, something that lay on the outside yet what you carried within was not the concern of others, not even your father. You stood defenceless in front of your father. Someone you thought will grab onto you till the very end is letting go of you even before your hardships start. He used his power against your will and there was nothing you could do as today's society called the rebellious nature of a woman unacceptable. Shaking your head from side to side you were not ready, not prepared to accept this chapter in your life. Picking up your gown you ran from your house deep into the woods, someplace with serenity. As you ran, warm tears trickled down your face leaving a dried imprint as the air brushed against them.

The ground was mushy and wet due to the rain that had poured itself down from the heavens some minutes prior. You entered the dense foreboding forest, the one set off limits for everyone. The light crisp air brushed through your face, as you ran far while your heart thumped against the caged chest. The earthy smell of water hovered over the dense forest providing an anomalous calmness to your body. The translucent air had started to spread its way across the mighty trees, causing a magical layer of mist to form. While you were lost in your agony you failed to notice how far who had come from the settlement. The pain within you blinded you from seeing or getting conscious of your actions. Even though this nocturnal forest provided you with peace, this place was just as dangerous as it was beautiful. One step, of your mind and you lose your life to almighty nature right where you started off from. It was almost as if this forest was hungry for a sacrifice and yet you still stood in the midst of it. Taking notice of where you stood, you found yourself to be in an open yet enclosed piece of land with humongous trees, reaching a height which was concealed to you considering the dense mist that had clouded itself over the forest. In Front of you stood a calm and surreal water body, glistening the evening colours of the sky on its surface.

"Wow," One word that could possibly escape your trail of thoughts was this. You were left stunned by such magnificent nature ahead of you. But as said, beautiful yet dangerous. There was something evil and frightening about this place. Something you never failed to notice while you watched from afar, this place had evil secrets that it was hiding, yet no one knew what it was. Were you brave enough to step foot here or foolish enough to not take note of where you lead yourself into?
