What does this entail? Ellie can manipulate and read anyone, human or devil with 100% accuracy. From their emotions, their soul, their motives. Anything that involves their thoughts or true nature, Ellie will know. She can even tell if someone is a human, devilman or devil because of this. She can also manipulate someone's psyche. She can control their thoughts, and even put them under a certain state of hypnosis if needed. Though, it takes a lot of energy out of her to actually entrance someone. She can also break someone, manipulating their thoughts to harm them. She can also induce certain emotions on people.
At what cost did she earn the ability to understand everyone, and even be such a manipulator? She had to give up her own psyche in a way. She's very unstable mentally, and she has a tendency to snap under stress. It's like she has no good control over her emotions, because of the fact she can control others.

Strengths:
• Intelligence - Ellie is incredibly smart. She's deemed as the genius in no matter the division she works in. She's clever, and a force to be reckoned with in mind games.
• Flexibility - Ellie is quite agile and flexible!
• Speed - Ellie is a fast runner, she can flee quickly and can chase fast.

Weaknesses:
• Physical strength - Ellie is considered to be one of the weakest devil hunters. She isn't athletic, and tends to fight outside of the battlefield by manipulating their opponents thoughts from afar.
• Instability - Ellie is deemed as a ticking time bomb. She's horrific to be around when she finally snaps and blows up. She is very emotionally unstable, and has a tendency to be aggressive.

Personality:
Ellie is typically a very charming individual. She's an extrovert, total charmer and is known as a sunshine among many. She is also very cocky, arrogant and confident in herself. Though, she is also incredibly intelligent and it shows despite being a loudmouth. She's able to be a good problem solver, and she thinks through things quickly and efficiently. Ellie is deemed as mature for her age, being an overthinker about life itself at times. One could say knowing everyone's thoughts constantly could drive her to think about her own lifestyle. She is also very secretive, having a hard time to open up to those she loves. She is also a jokester, bullying her friends for fun often. She hates being vulnerable, and tends to bottle in her emotions until she blows up. When she does, she's a totally different person. It's like the devil took over. She's unstable in that state, and it seems nobody has successfully calmed her down from her episodes.

Friends:
• Aki - They have a father daughter sort of relationship. He took her under his wing when she was around 13 years old, attempting to at least train her physically. That's one of the reasons she's a decent runner now.
• Himeno - The two were also close. Very similar to Aki and her in a way.
• Power - Despite Power being loud, it matches with Ellies loud and boisterous behavior anyways. Sometimes it seems the two are a perfect match.
• Angel Devil - Ellie considers him her best friend. The two are extremely close, and tend to have oddly deep talks with each other.

Enemies:
• Makima - Despite Ellie being one of the few closer allies to Makima, purely for the fact ellies contract is way more complicated, Ellie can quite literally tell Makima is a devil. She can sense every thought in makimas brain, and she knows this. So, Ellie and her have a personal deal, Ellie won't ever go under makimas will as long as Ellie NEVER gets involved in Makimas desire for chainsaw man. The two hate each other, for Ellie simply has that blackmail on her, and Makima has Ellies chance at freedom and happiness.

Love interest:
• Denji - She found him to be quite interesting. Though, she keeps her crush a total secret from others, well... More so refuses to admit it. It's obvious she loves him, but she's scared of him rejecting her. She thinks denji is a sweet guy, and finds him to be funny.

Backstory:
Ellies family definitely wasn't the best, nor did she have the best life. Her older sister had been killed by a devil when she was 15, Ellie actually witnessing it in front of her own eyes. Luckily, Ellie was spared. Her mom and dad also weren't on the best terms either. They were always cheating on each other, both of them. It was almost sad for Ellie to witness her parents unfaithful attitude. Her dad was a major alcoholic, Ellie witnessing that for most of her life along with his cheating.

At school, she was bullied quite badly by other kids. So, she dropped out eventually. She was a genius, but she couldn't take the bullying. At that, she chose to become a devil hunter, contracting with the psyche devil beforehand. She decided to work in division 4 among Makimas words. Why? Simply because Ellie could read the thoughts of everyone there. If one thought about betraying the group, she could kill them. She was a good asset to have in order to keep everyone in check, hence why Makima doesn't use her for her strength. Only her smarts. She also chose to live with Aki on her own will, not wanting to deal with her family anymore when she became a devil hunter.

So, now she's one of the youngest devil hunters on their team. Despite not being strong, her ability to understand everyone around her is uncanny. She can read everyone with 100% accuracy, nobody could hide any secrets from her gaze.

Once Makima had died, she went to highschool with Denji. In fact, this was when it was revealed ellie had been doing a form of online homeschooling in her spare time in order to maintain her high intelligence. She kept a neutral idea on Denji wanting his identity revealed, not really caring either way what happened at that point. Her job was no more after all, even if she was contracted with the same psyche devil.

Other:
• She can play piano and clarinet!
• She loves reading, it's her favorite past time.
• She actually has prescription glasses, she just refuses to wear them.
• She has EDS, which is a disease that effects your bones, making them more malleable. Her bones are flexible, but dislocate very easily.
