'What if she never left..?'
(Wanda Maximoff)
"I shouldn't be here. I shouldn't be here..." Wanda was pacing a darkly lit room whilst muttering. "I should be out there, strengthening my magic instead of stuck in a prison-like room. It is too dark to even think!"
Red sparks shot out of her hand in frustration, lighting up the room in a red glow. The room was empty apart from a lonely wooden and broken chair sitting in the corner, and a single bed squashed against the wall on the left. Since the incident of the hex, Wanda has been hiding. Afraid of the world around her, she couldn't leave. She was scared of who was going to find her, especially if it was the Avengers. What would they do? Not just feelings of dread filled her, but grief pins her down. She misses her brother, her husband, and her children. She stops pacing when the same thought passes her.
"I am truly alone"
(Aislynn)
Aislynn grabbed the last of her belongings and rushed out of her room, not stopping to say hi to anyone. She continued to run until Nick Fury was in her field of vision.
"Nick! NICK! NICK!!"
Nick turned around slowly, his face filled with confusion.
"Nick..I.. I.. think I know where Wanda is" Aislynn panted. Running was definitely not something her body could understand. "She must still be in Westview somewhere."
Nick, still confused, crossed his arms and stared intently into Aislynn's eyes. "And how can you be sure of this? We have witnesses who say she left by flying..?"
"Nick, just trust me. I don't think she left. She must be hiding in one of the buildings. I mean, where else would she go?"
Nick waved his hand, dismissing Aislynn.
"You better be right Aislynn, we need her back here as soon as possible. She has unleashed power that no one is able to understand."
Nick turns promptly and confidently walks away from Aislynn, leaving her alone in the corridor. Aislynn, rolling her eyes, turns right and rushes out of the entrance doors to the Avengers compound. Swinging her bag around her back, she looks at her hands.
"Right let's do this"
A yellow glow bloomed from both her hands, lifting her up, and allowing her to fly. She loves flying. Looking down at Earth below, she could see the flicker of life, small enough to be compared to as ants. She loves the feeling of the wind lifting her hair, causing waves of chills down her back. Being able to fly is a power she is so grateful for yet her power terrifies her. No one is able to tell her what the limit of her powers is because it is unknown. If she is believed to be similar to Wanda Maximoff, could she harness power like The Scarlet Witch? She violently shook her hand and instead focused on the mission ahead of her.
Two hours passed and she eventually made it to the Westview sign. Sighing in relief, she lowered herself gently to the ground to observe the view around her. After all the damage caused, the town has grown back on its feet, looking much better than before. Some people were busy on their little missions to the shops whilst others were mindlessly strolling or trying to stop their children from crying. They all turned their heads when they saw Aislynn approach.
"Please don't hurt us, we only just started to live our lives again" one of the women shouted in terror, cuddling her child to her chest.
"I am not here to hurt anyone, I am here to find the one you are afraid of... Wanda Maximoff."
A sudden wave of shivers rippled among the crowd of people at the mention of her name but one figure stood out. She walked towards Aislynn with a massive grin on her face.
"Hello dear. I'm Agnes. I can help you."
