Gaia, a country where there lies no one leader. Such confusion surprises the foreigners toward the country's dogmatic features but once charmed and aware, no minds are kept silenced until one can no longer think.
Each kingdom is ruled by descendants born of power. Callahan, also known as the White Kingdom. Ruled by King Crisolan, the firstborn son of the late King Empyus and the late Queen Esmel, brother to Prince Osius and Prince Remnon. After being crowned King, he marries the daughter of his father's Viceroy and now sits with him as Queen of the South.
On the other hand, the land where darkness prevails and forgiving others is a sin stands tall and strong. The Kingdom of Haemon. Dominance is what they ought to claim as they mean no similar peace and dreams of nothing close to the light. Unlike King Crisolan, King Demzis bear no blood that flows through the late King's veins. He is the son of the late King's Adviser who was married to the late King's daughter who met her end after their union.
Filled with sorrow and desire to meet his only child again, Haemon's late ruler died unknowingly. Now, the crown sits on top of King Demzis himself who then marries an ordinary villager who fountains luck over her ears. They said King Demzis and the late Queen Aenasyhs had a child. A son, to be exact who therefore claimed to be the most feared person in the country. The Orpheus.
In this country jeweled with enchantments, magic, and unexplainable science, no one could ever proclaim independence between the two. Both raced, battled to death to mark themselves worthy of being the only ruler. Yet, destruction could never be tolerated in the lands where people who bear no divine gift reside.
Both kingdoms built their own, sealed their lands and separated from one another. Gaia was said to be the country that has five main bullets to stop the unpredictable end. The possessors of power called themselves the Dareia while those who bear nothing but simplicity are called Ikaros.
The Iasons are the country's rare healers. They don't need needles or instruments to heal. However, there are not many of them left after the Dareia of Haemon curses all of them. Buried within themselves is a Desma, a law called to be a vow rather than a curse. That once an Iason reveals her deepest secret, death would immediately come by their door to fetch them.
Thus, their only reason to live in this world would be maximized to two: to heal and to protect those that can kill them. The fifth one is not written on this page, nor in any corner in this book. How can they call this book Epiphany if there lie empty spaces and incomplete statements? What pure irony!
A sigh empties my throat as I looked at the windows, staring from afar. Snow falls from the sky and carpets the soiled ground. No wonder it's called the White Kingdom. It snows for ten months and the sun reigns the two.
I push my lips to the side and brought back a glimpse into the page that I was in. The space that left me hanging makes me feel all the awful sentiments that I could ever feel. I closed the book irritatedly and sees an angry-looking man pointing his finger at me.
"Good thing you closed that book, Akaya. Mind you, if you ever spend your time reading instead of cleaning the halls, I'd throw your things outside! Do you understand?!" his voice raised to a shout and even supported his fury by stomping off his feet.
