Chapter 14

Nicolas

"Do you want me to introduce you to my friends?" Said Aliyah and i snapped my gaze to her.

"Yeah, sure" Maybe i need new friends, who knows? The hardest thing about this is how am i going to explain to Aliyah that i don't want anything serious with her right after i kissed her? I should've thought this through.

We walked next to the pool, and through the crowd to meet with the group of friends. To my surprise, it was the group of friends that i saw earlier in the main hall. The group that i wanted to talk to.

"Hey guys!!" Aliyah squealed and hugged some of the people. I just stood there awkwardly. "This is my boyfriend Nick everyone."

I choked. Me?! Her boyfriend?!?!? How? When? Who told her that?

"Nice to meet you Nick" Said one boy from the group, his ginger hair messy and a grin on his face. "I'm Jake" He offered me his hand. I shook it and said, "Nice to meet you" in the awkwardest way possible.

I was being introduced to more people until someone grabbed my shoulder and i flinched.

I turned around to see Theodore with a sad expression on his face. "Hey, you alright?" I asked and he smiled half-heartedly. "Yeah. We need to talk." Everyone was looking at me and Theodore to the point where i got slightly uncomfortable so i grabbed Theodore's hand and excused myself. I dragged him across the place until we got under a big oak tree.

"What is it?" I ask him curiously. "So... um, fuck how do i start." He mumbled nervously as he tried to find the right words. "Take your time" I gave him a soft smile and his features calmed down a little.

"So.. what was all that about..." He scratched his neck. I knew what he was talking about. I sighed loudly. "I just- i was so mad Theodore. I can't even look at her face without seeing them- ugh." I buried my face in my arms.

Then i realized Theodore probably has no idea what i'm talking about. "Fuck, sorry you didn't see the video, right." I stared at him as he was looking at the grass, avoiding eye contact. "I did kind of see it, yeah." He mumbled and my eyes widened.

"What?! When!" I yelled in shock. "Couple days ago" He said quietly playing with a piece of grass to distract himself.

"What the fuck Theodore! You saw it sooner than me and didn't tell me!? What kind of friend are you!" I spat at him with frustration.

Theodore

"What the fuck Theodore! You saw it sooner than me and didn't tell me!? What kind of friend are you!" My heart broke in million pieces after hearing that. Not only he thinks we could be just friends, he thinks i'm a bad friend now. All the sadness and anger made my blood boil.

"I hate you." I whispered. I meant to yell but i couldn't. I ended up with my head hung low and tears rolling down my cheek.

He scoffed. "You hate me? For what! You are the one who's acting all weird and can't even tell the truth!" I slowly stood up.

"IT'S BECAUSE I LOV-" I stopped.
"Because i love the way we are... well- more like the way we used to be. I was just protecting you. Also, i came to you cause i wanted to say i'm leaving from your life. Atleast you won't have a liar and a weirdo as your friend right?" I laughed and cried at the same time.

He just stared at me with no expression. I wiped my tears and ran away from him. Tears won't stop running down my cheeks and i have no idea how am i supposed to avoid Nick when we're literally roommates. I will find a way...somehow.

Yay new chapter!

This one is a sadder one so i hope it's okay! I can't even believe that i wrote this chapter out of nowhere.

a little secret- i have no script or plan for this book, so i basically write from my head based off what applies from the story! It's kind of fun.
