When Ralph arrived at the site of combat, he got there just in time to see Cecilia slipping away into the shadows and shot up towards Lucy, who stood on a giant boulder, glaring down at her. Cecilia suddenly appeared out from the shadows before Lucy swirled in mid-air and shot a trio of arrows in one go towards her.

Lucy's whiteout eyes flicked blood red. With a cold, deathly glare, she released her Cauchard at Midnight level. Ralph sped up, skidding to a stop in front of the others just in time to resist the deadly force for them with his own Cauchard, but Cecilia was instantly knocked out by the shock. Lucy leaped up and slammed her leg on Cecilia's head, making her plummet down towards the nearest volcano.

"Cecilia!" Kanitha called after her. Biting her lips, she turned to Ralph.

"Your fight is finished?" She asked, nodding towards the seaside.

Ralph nodded with a beat of hesitation. He wouldn't call it his fight.

"You... Didn't do anything to Eve, right?"

Ralph shook his head. "I don't know what to do."

"Then you can forget about it for now. She's the same as you, a weapon wielded by the Scars, isn't she?" Kanitha asked, after receiving no response from Ralph, she left a quick kiss on his cheek and liquefied. "Let's just end this war."

"Good luck," Paulie patted his shoulder as he ran past him. Ralph watched he and Kanitha dash towards Lucy, who still stood on the rock top, cold and merciless.

Conjuring thousands of shattered ice pieces, Paulie sent them rushing towards Lucy like a storm of glimmering blades. Lucy waved her hand and separated it, making them wash away beside her. She shot for Paulie and grabbed him by his cheeks.

"You're the cursed one, aren't you?" She smiled chillingly. "I'm surprised you still have the guts to face me."

Paulie winced under the impact of the pain, suddenly remembering the terrible memory like fresh and new, sharp pain from the old wound throbbing in his ribs.

As his scarf fell away from his face, everyone was finally able to see what was hidden beneath it.

Ralph was utterly shocked, speechless at the sight. Paulie's whole neck and the face beneath his nose had been covered by a layer of frost. It looks lifeless and dead like the body of a dead man frozen in a winter gale.

Kanitha solidified beneath them, gaping at Paulie.

Lucy glanced at the shocked faces, a smile slowly spreading up on her face.

"You haven't told them?" She sneered. "You haven't shown them the consequence of my curse? You haven't shown them who you truly are? You haven't told them that you'll die when-"

Her sentence broke off as a fist landed heavily on her cheek. With a screech, she lets go of Paulie.  Rubbing her bruised cheek, she turns around to see Cecilia.

"Shut your mouth up!" She screamed, her hair flying over her bloodied face, her fist clutched so tight that blood could be seen seeping through her skin. "He's still a hundred times better than you even if he's nothing more than a frozen body!"

With a cold glare, Lucy swept her hand in the air. Cecilia soon received a strike across her face. The last thing Ralph saw was her teeth shooting out from her mouth before she hits the ground and lays there, motionless.

Kanitha ran in front of Cecilia, spreading her arms, she blocked off Lucy's second attack with her body. The power immediately sent a small explosion of thousands of water droplets flying through the air, but they later collected back together, solidifying back into Kanitha.

"What you did to them..." She started silently. Closing her eyes, dark grey fur slowly appeared in patches over Kanitha's body. As the patches grew together, forming a silver pelt across her body, a large, furry tail whipped out behind. Her ears gradually melted away, instead, a pair of long, cat-like ears popped up on top of her head.

"You will pay for it." She snarled, opening her odd-colored eye. It was her God form, the Noir-Vol.
