~Musa's Pov~
Musa felt an intense sense of guilt, so strong that her ears started ringing and her head started pounding. She had to come clean about Sam, Terra needed to find out through her not some trivial gossip. She wasn't willing to lose her friend over this.
"I have something to tell you!" She hadn't expected to spit it out so suddenly but she had so no backing out now.
Coming clean about her secret relationship gave her a sense of relief; no matter how Terra reacted she was glad to have put it out in the open finally.
She felt even better when Terra embraced her in one of her famous warm hugs and showed no resentment towards Musa. Well, she did have something to say about her taste in men but Terra laughed around her words so Musa knew she was only teasing to help the group move past today's tension.
However, Musa still felt the pressure of guilt on her shoulders, creating a slight ache behind her eyes. Trying not to make the scrunch of her eyebrows and grimace at the pain too obvious, she looked around hoping that she was only feeding off someone else's emotions and not still feeling guilty herself.
When she turned on her heel she caught sight of y/n. Her shoulders were sagged and hunching under her shoulder plates and her face held a deep look of concentration and despair as she remained froze in place staring at her boots. Her teeth were obviously biting down, hard, forcing her jawline to stand out more definitively and her cheekbones to appear sharper in contrast to her gaunt cheeks.
Musa had to admit she looked slightly threatening. However she wasn't scared of y/n hurting them, more about her hurting herself. Her hands, now in tight fists, would clearly leave bloodied half-moon trenches in the less-calloused soft flesh of her palms.
Y/n was giving off such strong waves of guilt Musa was starting to feel dizzy under the potency. Yet, in a split second y/n looked up with newfound determination, making eye contact with Musa before effectively switching her guilt off. Musa was shocked at that, it takes so much skill for her to block other people's emotions but here y/n was doing it for her. She assumed she was used to putting up a front and hiding her true feeling behind an emotionless appearance. That thought made her frown, she couldn't imagine what y/n had been through that made her capable and willing to repress her emotions so suddenly.

~back to y/n pov~

I had carefully watched Terra's reaction to Musa's confession and taken mental notes of every expression that passed over her face.
It wasn't until her usual laughter echoed through the now-abandoned hallway and her arms wrapped around Musa that you let out the breathe you were holding.
You sank back into your thoughts as you planned out the best way to tell Terra the truth. Her positive reaction to Musa certainly helped you feel more confident and you felt the straightforward approach worked well in this case so why not use that.
You were brought out of your deep consideration by the uncomfortable feeling of eyes on you.
Of course, you were used to the general student body staring at you most of the time but around Terra your senses felt even more heightened and you hoped it wasn't her that caught you staring at the floor in thought.
You quickly pulled all your worries and doubts back to their box at the back of your mind, straightened your back and moved your head up to find who was watching you.
When you met eyes with Musa the purple glow in them felt like it was staring into your very soul and you instantly felt uncomfortable remembering that she could feel what you were feeling.

Both of you were distracted again by Terra turning around to where you and Musa had halted a couple steps behind her and Aisha. "Have fun with that", You couldn't help but abandon all previous thoughts to smile at her silly accent and jokes pointing fun at her brother.
You hoped to get some time with her soon, not just to tell her the whole truth about you but also to just take in her company. It always felt so peaceful, like warm drinks in the winter or a hot bath to relax your muscles after training. You and Musa caught up with her as you watched her enjoy laughing with her friends despite the current drama.

The moment was ruined however by the sound of suitcase wheels below the walkway. All stopping to look over, you saw an abundance of large white suitcases with a gold trim. You knew those suitcase, it hadn't been long since you helped Stella unpack them whilst reminiscing when you both first arrived.

"Wait those are Stella's suitcases!"
You all walked hurriedly to their suite. Anxiety started to bite at the bottom of your stomach as dread washed over you. You knew her mother was controlling and stubborn but surely she wouldn't? Would she?
It wasn't until you reached Stella's room to find it hauntingly empty that you felt the weight of the situation hit you.
You were now very concerned for Stella, you had seen and heard how cruel her mother was and if she was angry she always took it out on Stella. You weren't sure how much more of her torture Stella could handle, you had seen the consequences it had on her magic.

You couldn't handle looking at the deserted hangers strewn over the bed any longer. Hoping to be able to stop Stella's mother before she took Stella away or at the very least say goodbye, you took off running to the front of the school.
Running like you had a burned one on your trail, you frantically skidded around corners and dived past any staff still around this late at night.
When you saw the big wooden doors at the entrance you sped up using your last bit of energy and slammed into them, forcing it to open.

You clumsily ran down the stairs as you caught sight of the back of Stella's car about to leave the gates. You choked on the night air as you realised you were too late and with your last bit of energy you sprinted after the fancy car.

Seeing the gates shut and the car drive away into the dark surrounding forest you stumbled to your knees in the pebble driveway.
You couldn't believe she was gone. Her had taken her and you couldn't stop her. You couldn't help but compare it to how you would have felt if your uncle had returned.
You felt as though you failed to protect Stella, breaking the pinkie promise you made under the old armoury stair when you were children, and it crushed you.

~and back to Musa~

Musa would have to ask y/n about it later. Seeing Stella's suitcases meant one thing and you didn't like it. As much as she disliked the light fairy's snobbish attitude sometimes, they were all beginning to see past that and still saw her as a friend.
When Musa entered Stella's room and saw everything hastily emptied she was more confused over why she suddenly left without goodbyes but when y/n walked further into the room, lightly trailing her hand over the carvings in the frame of Stella's bed and looking at the hangers layed out on the mattress a powerful concoction of fear and urgency found its way to Musa.
It was a surprise to all of them when y/n abruptly bolted from the room, the rapid thud of her boots and slight jangle of her armour being the only way they could tell she was heading down the corridor to the front of the school.
Breaking away from staring at the door y/n had just ran out of, Musa looked over at Terra.
Whilst she was equally confused and worried as Terra usually is, there was something else Musa could feel. Musa never liked to admit it but she was curious by nature and didn't think much of it when she subtly tried to pick up whatever else this new emotion was. She could feel it spark in Terra, yet she couldn't recognise this emotion from other times she felt Terra's emotions. She half-expected it to be affection for y/n but this felt wild and unfamiliar.
Digging a little deeper, Musa felt envy. She couldn't believe it, Terra was jealous? Of what? She asked herself, then she realised y/n had resembled a knight, running off to rescue Stella. She could see how this would effect Terra seeing as Stella was literally a Princess and they had all questioned the relationship between said princess and y/n before.
However as quick it was there it was gone, fizzled out by an overwhelming worry for Stella and y/n.
