Chapter 17: A sudden kidnap

Team Tetsumi's opponent is... Team Tennouji, the team they want to avoid!!!

" Good luck, Kuroko-San" Tennouji said.

" You too," Tetsumi said with a neutral face.

The other contestant, their classmates, and the others are in awe.

(They still didn't know what's Tetsumi's relationship with Henri-Sensei)

" Now that the matches have been decided, let's continue on with the party. Could each team switch into their chef jackets... And we'll make you make cakes for the children invited today." The headmaster said.

The contestants, including Team Tetsumi, changed their clothes to their chef jackets...

After they have changed into their chef jackets, the contestant meets up at one place, the headmaster tells everyone that they would be making cakes in front of the kids. Tennouji and her teammates and also Team Tetsumi and the other contestant are making cakes as requested by the kids. While she does that she hasn't realized that the ceremony was broadcast and so anyone is watching them. At the same time, Vorpal Swords were watching it on television in Akashi's mansion.

Vorpal Swords POV

After our meeting, Atsushi turns on the television to look at what was going on in a sweet school. After we realize that Kuroko-San is there, we watch it with him to know what is going on.

To our surprise, we saw Kuroko-San baking tons of sweets with incredible speed.

" Wow, Kurokochii is great at baking ssu," Kise said.

"I didn't know that Kurochin could bake, " Atsushi said.

" Well if she is here right now, I bet she would say that we didn't ask her," Momoi said, Coach Riko agreed.

"Well, let's watch it until it ends, I'm curious how skillful she is at baking, for I am absolute," Akashi said. We all sweatdropped by his remarks.

"Right," we said.

"So what's our plan for asking for her forgiveness?" Momoi asked.

" Good question, we may be able to come across her in the near future... So why not we try to gain her trust back?" Coach Riko suggested.

We all agree with her suggestion because we realize that she needed space if we want her to forgive us.

No One's POV

Tetsumi decided to make their request cakes in a short span of time knowing the fact that it might take a while to finish, but nothing the least, Tetsumi did it with a lot of concentration and at most speed while listening to her surroundings so that she would know what cakes the little kids want. But one of the kids requested a hotcake made by her mother that passed away from illness, she wanted Tetsumi to try to make it. Out of pity, Tetsumi gives her a smile that no one has ever seen on her face and says that she would be honored.

Tetsumi took out the ingredients from under the table and start looking at the recipe book that the kid was holding. When she finished making it, the kid said that it doesn't taste like her mother's, so Tetsumi started thinking about what it got wrong.

"Ui, did you perhaps feel better after eating hotcakes? or your mother feels better eating the cake with you?" Tetsumi asked the girl.

" No I don't but mama has, that's why she makes and eats fluffy hotcakes with me," The girl said.

Tetsumi then got an idea and start making it again but this time, she uses rice flour instead of wheat flour. It turns out that is the case because the girl likes it. Tetsumi made another one in secret just in case she wants more. Sure enough, she wanted to give some to her mother. Team Tetsumi made the icing since Tetsumi already made another batch of it anyway.
