Chapter 12 | We Got Married...right?

*Y/N's POV*
I heard an alarm go off and I mumbled wishing I could sleep in more.
I look at the time 6:00AM
Sigh~ if I don't get up now, I won't have time to pack and get ready for the shoot

I lay in bed and stare at the ceiling. I could see the moon slowly start to set from my window. It was still pretty dark and your room was really cold. You could stay in bed all day.

You kept staring at the ceiling reminiscing from your date with Jihyo last night. You couldn't help but crack a wide smile. The kiss that fell upon your lips and the moments you shared together, you felt like it was all a dream but in reality it was all true.

You then heard a buzz from your phone thinking it was your manager to check to see if you were awake.

You smiled at the sight of the name that popped up instead.

Hyo <3 : hi my lil sleepyhead, I hope you're awake. Just wanted to say good morning and please be safe on your way to your shoot. Message me when you can or FaceTime call me. I love and miss you a lot already. 💛

You twisted and turned in your bed from the message. Your heart skipped a bit to be greeted with that in the early morning. It felt like it gave you so much energy to start the day. She usually is still asleep by this time but your assuming she woke up just to send that message.

You message her that you're awake and about to get ready to pack. You told her you miss her and love her as well. You promised you'll call as soon as you can.

You look again at the ceiling then smiled brightly.
You never thought you could feel this way with someone before. But it all changed when you remembered what you were getting yourself into.

You agreed to the show prior to you and Jihyo even getting close so you couldn't possibly back out now, you already signed the contract and news was already being rumored you'd be on the show.

You place your hand on your forehead.
"What am I getting myself into?"

You started to get ready, took a shower and started to pack your things.
You had a huge suitcase with you and a backpack.

You look at the time it was already 8:28AM
You forgot to eat breakfast and was already hungry. You were about to grab some toast till you heard a ding on your phone from your stylist.

You place the bag of bread on the table.
Guess I can't eat breakfast now.
I'll have to hope there's some snacks or something on set.

I see Shoyo come out of his room rubbing his eyes still holding his plushie that he uses to go to sleep.
"You're leaving already kangie"

Sigh ever since he met me he would always all me kangie cus of my last name.
I'll only let him ever call me that....HE BETTER NOT SAY THAT AROUND JIHYO OR ELSE SHE'LL NEVER STOP CALLING ME THAT

"Yeah my driver is already downstairs. I left you a list of things you need to turn off or check before you leave to Japan. Make sure you check the thermo for the fishes."

We had a fish tank that we all agreed to take care of but since everyone is gone, Shoyo has to be the one to...fish sit? Then our managers will take care of them the rest of the time we're gone.

He nodded and slowly walked his way towards me for a hug.
"Bye kangie~ make sure you use protection."

I hit the top of his head and he started laughing.

I waved him goodbye and headed downstairs.

My manager warned me they were already recording and soon enough as I stepped out of the elevator I was greeted with cameras the producer my stylist and my driver.
I bowed and greeted everyone.

My driver greeted me and I packed my things into the trunk.

My stylist was doing my makeup in the car. She then mic'd me up and I noticed the little go pro on the side of the car. I waved at it.
"Ah so it's already starting."

Great way to mentally prepare myself. Now I have to be on my best behavior.
I saw that we were leaving the city into a more natural looking town.

It looks like they wanted this way to have more privacy and so that they don't leak out any info to the media.

About 35 mins later, we were almost there but there was a bit of traffic. I was getting sleepy and still wishing I could sleep.
My stylist noticed too and she gave me a nudge and nod. She gave me the go ahead to take a rest since it's traffic.
Slowly my eyes shut and I forgot everything around me.

I know the fans are gonna love the edit of me falling asleep in the car.

A felt a little nudge on my shoulder and I opened my eyes slowly and stretched my body.

We were about 5 minutes away from the destination. I look outside to see a large river and mountains. Wow I didn't realize we would be so far out. Then I saw some bridges and boats, it was nice and seem relaxing.

We then arrived at this area with a lake house and nice villa.
Seems like we were staying here for the shooting.

The driver parked the car in the front entrance, I saw the camera crew get ready to see me walk out the car. The stylist checked my makeup one last time and nodded to me.

"Whenever you're ready y/n."

I opened the car door and stepped out. I bowed at everyone and received an envelope.

Looked like a mission card.

"Welcome to We Got Married. We're so happy to see you and we hope you'll be able to make good memories and have fun with your destined partner to be."

Kinda cheesy but okay

"You'll find your partner waiting for you at the docks but before that you need to get yourself ready. You can't just come in empty handed. You'll find a shop nearby the villa."

I look up to see an indeed shop near the villa.
I walked towards the shop and entered.
God Jihyo is gonna kill me
I'm sorry but right now I have to just be professional and keep this all work

I look at the different gifts and items that were for sale.
Maybe I should be extra. The fans are gonna love this for sure.

"Hmm..I wanna be a little extra, usually people just get flowers but I wanna do something more."

I look at the bouquet and then saw a Polaroid on display.

Bingo.

I bought my items and proceeded for them to get wrapped.
Then I headed to the villa and then to the docks.
My heart was kinda beating fast. As much as I know it's all for show, it's still a whole person.

I see a figure looking out the lake, leaning against the rail. A figure I recognized but couldn't really pinpoint because I forgot to wear my contacts.

"Ah I'm nervous. I need my glasses."
I turn to my stylist
"Unni can I have my glasses."

She handed me them. I put them on and proceeded to walk forward.
wait I know that figure...

I see the person turn slowly.
"Hey there stranger."
She smiled brightly.

I chuckled.
"Hey."
