This is Sara. Sara is everyone's typical, shy friend. She's the friend everyone brings along even though she doesn't like being around other people. She's much to shy, you see? Sara has another friend. One that's much more outgoing than she is, however, this friend is good for Sara. Sara's energetic friend, Max, is what makes her step out of her comfort zone. Max and Sara can often be seen with Max pulling Sara away into a library, a rock concert, or a movie theater. Sara doesn't really like going to any of those places. Not even the Library because Max often makes her do things she's not used to.

Once, he made her enter a writing contest. While she hated every minute of it, she eventually won the contest and discovered a new skill. Something she'd never get to do if it weren't for her friend Max.

One day, Max brought Sara to the movie theater where they watched a movie about a deserted island. Sara didn't like this movie, because she just knew Max would try to recreate it and pull her along for the adventure. Something she was correct about because Max did just that.

After the movie, Max drove Sara back to the library. They spent hours looking at the books about desert islands and eventually Max found out about an escape room. An escape room you see, is not something Sara likes. Why? She doesn't like feeling trapped. It makes her shyness come out even more and makes her extremely scared. Even though she knows she doesn't need to be, because she always has Max right by her side.

The escape room was themed as a deserted island they Max and Sara had to find clues to get off of the island. Max suggested building a raft for them to paddle home. They would stop at other islands and search for materials along the way. Perhaps they could make their raft bigger!?

Sara took a much more easy way and suggested flagging down a plane with a distress signal. Yes, she paid attention to the books she and Max read about deserted islands. Max on the other hand, he always took the most exciting route.

What is it we can learn from this duo? That for every shy friend there must always be a bold friend. Who will get the shy out of their comfort zone to learn more and experience life fuller? I suppose we would never know if we didn't know who Max and Sara were!
