-one year later-
abisai and reiss have been going on strong since the first date, after reiss asked abisai to be his girlfriend reiss confidence boosted a lot and you could have seen it in his games, and also for abisai. reiss is really is overprotective over her, when they would play and the boys on the opposite team would try to flirt with abisai, reiss was always ready to argue, when they would lose abisai would comfort reiss and vice versa.
when abisai would be sick reiss would bring little gifts everyday, her family loved reiss treated him like there son, but still didnt know that they were dating.
everything was going good until..
as abisai walks up the stairs to her apartment, she opens the door and takes off her shoes she walks to the dining table where everybody was sitting.
"where have you been?' abisai moms asked
"out with friends, why what happened?" abisai said
abisai dad sighed and looked at her mom.
"you know that me and your father got a new job and better opportunities." abisai mother said
"mhm, and.." abisai with a confused face
"and with better opportunities, comes with many changes' abisai father says
"where is this leading to?' abisai said
a moment of silence before her somebody said something.
"were moving to a different country." abisais mother said.
abisai looks around and notice that nobody has any emotion on there face.
"okay jokes over now, whats really going on' abisai says
still nobody saying anything or showing any emotion.
'abisai, this isnt a joke." abisai dad says
tears start to form in her eyes and sees her family looking at her.
"abisai it will be fine, you will make new friends and it will be a fresh start for you and us." abisai auntie said
"that isnt the point auntie" abisai said
abisai looks at her auntie and shakes her head while trying to hold back tears.
"anyways are you hungry?" abisai mother asks
"im not hungry" abisai said ready to burst out into tears
silence again then abisai walks away then burst into tears.
"abisai wait!" abisai auntie said following behind her.
abisai quickly runs to her room and goes into the bathroom and starts crying, nonstop.
a few minutes later she hears a knock on the door.
"abisai open the door please." abisai auntie says
"please."
abisai gets up and opens the door and falls into aunties arms.
"i know it's hard to accept this news but it's gonna happen whether you like it or not,you know this is a big opportunity for your mom and dad. It has always been your parents dream to be successful in life after leaving jamaica and it's finally happening for them, I know leaving your friends is the hardest part for but you will make new friends and new memories, i promise." auntie says
abisai takes a deep breath and just responds with a okay.
she had bigger things to worry about, like telling reiss thats shes moving, and focusing on football.
"alright, so you good now?" auntie asks
"mhm." abisai said with a somewhat smile on her face.
auntie smiles at her and says goodnight.
abisai closes her door and goes in the bathroom and does her nighttime routine, she goes in her bed and goes on her phone and reiss texted her "goodnight my love ❤️" abisai smiles at her phone and texts him back goodnight, she turns off her phone, says her prayers and goes to bed.
meanwhile thinking how shes going to tell reiss about her moving.
