Birthday Special: Always and Forever.

"Kookie where are we going?" questioned Nari for the fifth time now.

It was currently 11:50 on 31 August and in a few minutes it would be their birthday. Now Nari's original plan was to wait until midnight to start her birthday v-live when Jungkook suddenly came and dragged her out the dorm to who knows where.

"Just be patient darling we're almost there," said Jungkook.

Now normally Nari wouldn't be so restless but it was night time and there were walking down the streets of Seoul. The idol was worried about their safety cause even though they had masks and hats to cover their faces, they were always being watched by some sort of news media and Nari was honesty not in the mood for a scandal. Dispatch had been very interested with her and Jungkook nowadays. Also who knows what kind of criminals may be lurking the streets tonight.

But even with all those thoughts in her head, Nari kept quiet. She trusted Jungkook enough to know that he wouldn't put them in any danger.

A few more minutes passed before Jungkook spoke again. "We're here, love."

Nari let out a small gasp as she finally recognised the place. It was a small park that was their previous hangout spot during their pre-debut and early post-debut times. This place had been her and Jungkook's quiet place when their career's got a little too overbearing sometimes and they just needed some alone time.

The park held so many memories for the two of them, some good some bad, but memories nonetheless.

As Nari continued to gawk at the place Jungkook was busy staring at her. He loved that it was just the two of them right now, he had been craving some time with her lately. Them putting a little break on group activities really took up their spare time as Nari had been working on her solo projects and him doing the same but it seemed the female idol had a lot on her hands than most of them. Modelling, acting and collaborations left and right (a/n: ha! see what i did there?) Nari had easily been the busiest member out of all of them. Not to mention she's shooting music videos for her upcoming album.

"Kookie I – what made you think about coming back here?" asked Nari after coming out of her shock.

Jungkook smiled shyly. "Well after seeing how busy we all were with our solo projects, I just wanted to do a little something for the two of us. I know how hectic these past months have been especially for you since you have so much on your plate, I thought maybe...." he trailed as his cheeks turned a bright red.

Nari felt warmth feel her heart as she listener to her bandmate's words. She found it adorable how he wanted to do something special to take her mind of her busy career for a bit and just enjoy. She took his hand and interlocked their fingers, a small grin on her lips.

"Thank you Kookie this means so much to me," said the maknae sincerely.

The bunny boy smiled back before wrapping an arm around her waist to pull her closer. "You remember the last time we were here? The present I got you?"

Nari chuckled. "How could I forget? That present has never left my finger ever since you gave it to me."

Yep you guessed it. This was the very park that Jungkook had given Nari the matching promise rings and made her wear it on her left ring finger. Even though she found it a bit cringy and silly on his insist, she still followed his instructions and never took her ring (unless she had to shower of course). Even when the eagle-eyed ARMY saw the silver accessory and a rumour about Nari being engaged started, she never took it off.

Jungkook shifted his gaze to their hands, a sense of happiness filling his being when it landed on their rings. He specifically picked out those ones cause he knew how Nari didn't like extravagant rings and opted for a simple set. His was a black ring that had 'Her Forever' engraved on it and hers was silver with 'His Always' engraved.

The rings were simple yet they were worth a lot.

The quietness however was broken when suddenly both stars' phones went off with multiple notifications being sent at once. Taking them out, they laughed whole heartedly once seeing it was just each and everyone of their friends sending out their birthday wishes. A particular text from Lisa had Nari rolling her eyes.

Lili💃💖🖤: I'm stopping by your place for chocolate cake later🤪.

"Baby," Nari turned to face Jungkook and she blushed deeply once she saw the utter adoration and love that basically sparkled in his big doe eyes.
"Happy birthday Nari." he said softly.

"Happy Birthday Kookie," she replied back.

And to begin the off the day, Jungkook connected their lips in a slow but passionate kiss and any thought of appearing on the media later that day evaporated from Nari's mind completely.

In that moment, it was just them and they both hoped it would continue to be like this, Always and Forever.

Aaaahhhhh anyways guys! Sooooo how are y'all? Are yall doing okay? I hope so. Today is a very special day because one its the beginning of my birth month (that's right, imma September gal) and two on this very day, 25 years ago, our bunny boy Jeon Jungkook was born. I'm not a firm believer in astrology, in fact i don't indulge myself in that shit but the fact me, Jungkook, Namjoon have the same zodiac sign is just dope! I also have the same birthday as Seungmin from StrayKids (September 22nd) we just differ in years 🥲.

I really hope this man has a great day today and much love to him. I wish him the greatest birthday and many more to come (its me speaking as though he's gonna read this🥲😂)

Anyways! A big happy birthday to our girl Nari as well. Let me tell you she due a visit from a tonne of people today who all the motive to enjoy some cake🤣🤣🤣
